Is the feedback app installed yet? Just curious. If its gone then they must be ready for release soon.
Other wise we probably have like 10 more betas to go lol. Was really hoping we would get messages in the cloud before 2018. It was working so well during the beta. Heres hoping it shows up in 11.5 and before 2019!

This might be the worst update i've experienced.

2 things you will immediately notice:

A) Your keyboard typing sounds will be MAX volume regardless of your volume settings. Either have to completely turn it off or live with a very loud keyboard type sound

B) When you lock your phone, the shutter sound will be at MAX volume.

I'm having that issue on the third beta. Was hoping this one would address it.

lol ... iCloud Messages was announced a millenia ago and it still has not arrived. What makes you think they are going to develop those battery life diagnostic tools within like 2 weeks since the backlash started

The battery diagnostics tools are already baked into iOS. How else would the software know to throttle the phone?
They just need to figure out how they want to display the information. And that shouldn’t take 2 weeks.

What I appreciate about this beta is that pressing the letter "a" actually produces an a
(in most apps)

Hope this one is better than the last beta, that one was really crappy, battery drains fast-at bedtime 70%, at rise 30%, slow App startups, unresponsive apps for 10-20 seconds, the list goes on.

Edit:Seems to be much better now, sound is back to normal as well as all above issues.

That's been fixed in this version. At least for my iPhone X. That was driving me crazy, my phone was on silent since that update. lol

Has anyone who was experiencing the bad lag/slow app start up issues installed this yet? Any improvement? I had to roll back to Beta 2 on my iPad Air 2 as it was really bad.

No mention of the fabled throttle switch?

Because they haven't been served with 25+ class action lawsuits and universal bad press coverage over iCloud Messages.

Different teams, different tech involved. There is clearly some unexpected issue with iCloud Messaging that they can't solved.

But I am seeing notifications pop up (like text message) and go away immediately on the lock screen.

will my phone be in landscape mode upon awakening when it should be in portrait still?

This has only been an issue for months now .... we’ll, at least they fixed Calculator

Where is the option to disable the throttling if Apple is not trying to pull a fast one with it?

Not happening. they can't and wont get rid of it.

Dreadful

This build on an i7+ is super speedy and the annoying lag has gone.

It did clear my touchid and reset my Apple wallet etc

I’ve also noticed this in the WiFi settings?

Even the more reason to make sure its working properly before showing it to anyone

As far as I have read there is no indication that they will put this throttling "feature" behind the Low Power Mode switch. That appears to be all speculation at this point, no?

What lag do you speak of?

It is nice feature, it will pop up on your phone asking to let someone on your network, so you don't have to tell them your wifi password.
