What is your bug that needs to be fixed? I just want them to fit everything on the smaller car screens. I am tired of not seeing the entire name of the artist or the album (or the channel on SiriusXM). it's so annoying!

Agreed. I can't believe that there is not an option to enable scrolling for text that doesn't fit on the screen.

They are still making changes to it though, so maybe they’re slowly trying to rewrite it to look the exact same for 3D Touch and non 3D Touch devices? So it eventually will feel the same but not look the same?

I hope so. I’m a big fan of peek and pop and removing that function has felt like a step back for me.

for me the fact it feels the same speed on 6s as on the iPad and XR on iOS 13 but slower than 3D Touch on iOS 12 on my 7 or X is a sign they’re doing this so that the new iPhones this year don’t “feel” dated in function. 3D Touch was identical on 6s and 7 prior to iOS 13.


In terms of speed, this build is very smooth on iPad Pro 11”, XR, and iPhone 6s

it’s not though. It’s the same as before. A smidge faster in response but it’s not 3D Touch the way it was on iOS 9 to 12.

and no return of peek and pop function

for example if you long press on the icons you still trigger the same haptic response as if you 3D Touch. That is not 3D Touch

I suspect Peak/Pop is gone forever.

All the rumors show them removing 3D Touch from the iPhone 11, so it sounds like they're trying to unify the feature set on all the phones.

I see it as an OTA update on my iPod touch, but not on the developer website.

Weird I have my iPhone and iPad Pro both running beta 3. The iPad shows an OTA update available. The iPhone says I'm up to date. Strange.

Very good news In terms of UI: apple has restored the subtle sensitivities and you can now close apps with small flicks and swipe through the menus with smaller flicks again just like before. Makes everything feel more responsive. On iOS 13 beta 3, you really needed to make a solid swipe motion to close apps or swipe between menus

I agree. It really sucks and is a step back. I loved peeking at messages and mail, or safari links. I think because I am so used to it since iOS 9 it will be tougher to “untrain”. At least 3D Touch anywhere on the keyboard and app switcher functions are still intact. Peek and pop from the lock screen or notification menu is one of my favourite functions so it feels like a downgrade for sure.

You can tell 3D Touch has not returned because if you lightly press on icons you still get the same haptic response at the same time as if you press harder. It is *not* pressure sensitive. Very apparent when done next to IOS 12 or from the lock screen on both devices.

Seems like the lag (mainly YouTube) is fixed. Not sure what the point of the Bre move icons feature is.... be nice if it made moving and organizing easier or being able to create a new look

I still don't like on the iPad you no longer have the search field on the today view (you do on the iPhone). As well as the today view on the iPad is bunched up on the left side. In iOS 12 the widgets would take advantage of the screen width.

Has anyone else noticed that if you have an app in a folder in the dock, you can't drag that app up to do split screen? The same app in the dock works fine.

I cannot control audio using the dashboard. I see the buttons, but it just locked up. Also the left half of the app/siri button is not responsive. Messages does have issues too. Also shortcuts that are supposed to run when I plug in to carplay don't run at all.

Oh my! Did they make a HUGE improvement on 3D Touch? Errr...whatever they're calling the subpar one? I think they did! I can FINALLY press, and drag up/down to the option without having to lift my finger again.
