I find it interesting the only reason why Apple is paying more attention to updates on the new Apple TV is because of its new tvOS OS for it. While the previous iOS model suffers in limbo.

Thanks for all the bread. Release a new OS, and Apple pays more attention to it... That's the motto. :D

Could you imagine the speeds if everyone was doing that? The servers slow down substantially when a lot of people are trying to download the update on a WiFi connection, now imagine it over cellular. Also, cellular isn't as reliable which could increase the risk of a corrupt download with a packet or two missing.
Dude this is why load balancers exists and cellular or wifi the packet handling is the same, maybe cell network is more error prone but the marvellous tcp stack will take care of this right out of the box... Again if I use another phone and set network sharing and I connect another phone via Wi-Fi to this phone I cab update but all the data are coming from cell network... No issue. The only one would maybe if a lot of users have unlimited data plan and are nerds to download it via cell network but they also have to be located in same area with same operator so others users can see a network quality decrease on that particular cell... But honestly this will come, I just don't know why apple keeps doing that, there should put an option disabled by default.

Not seen it mentioned here but looks like Apple have rolled out the update to Live Photos on the 6s to stop it recording when the iPhone is 'dropped' after taking the photo.

It was announced at launch but not seen anything to see its here but tried a couple of times since updating to beta 4 and works well.

I submit bug reports for every single beta where this still happens and they haven't fixed it. It's so bad on my iPhone 5 it takes a good 10 seconds before I can use the phone again.

I had the same issue and submitted a bug report and had a response from Apple asking me if the problem had been fixed in iOs 9.1 (pb2) and I told them it had as I don't get this problem anymore

I don't think that's a bug. It's to accommodate the long settings list on iphone. If it didn't open scrolled down a little bit, the general settings would not be visible at first. Some users would find it irritating to have to look for the general settings menu as it's arguably the most important for changing very basic settings on the device.

It would make more sense for them to then just move general settings up and have settings page open at the top of the screen?? Wouldn't it??

Indeed. It's counterintuitive and poor UI design to open a menu and display anywhere but the top (unless you're remembering last opened position, which doesn't apply here). For me this is odds-on a bug, but a cosmetic one that is either very, very easy to fix so not a priority right now, or very difficult to fix (and thus also not a priority).

My 6+ seems to randomly delete every single song I've downloaded (make available offline). Sometimes just randomly but most the time when it's powered off and on again. Both in this beta and beta 3. Extremely annoying.

How about Game Center? I have signed out and do not want to (ever!!!!) use it. On IOS8 and previous, I could just cancel it 3 or 4 times, and it never came back.

Now, the damn thing pops up every. single. time. I. start. a. game. I am so frustrated and annoyed, that I am considering jail breaking just to get away from this mess.

Can anyone please tell me if they have fixed this in the beta?

Much appreciated!!!

Anyone? Could someone please check on this?

Wait, what? That makes absolutely no sense. If I open settings, it opens misaligned, it cuts off the "Airplane Mode" line in half, and it looks like garbage. I can scroll up just slightly to accommodate Airplane Mode AND the white space above Airplane Mode and I can still see General, Display & Brightness, and Wallpaper in their entirety. So I have no clue what you are talking about with General not being visible. The way it SHOULD work is, it should align like it did before, with the white space above Airplane Mode, but NOW you have the option to swipe down and get to a search bar (Which also should say Search and not Settings in the search bar). I think this bug is caused by adding the Search feature but they didn't accommodate for the extra pixels taken up by the Search bar so it aligns itself thinking the Search box isn't there. Hell, it even re-aligns itself automatically if you drag the white space above Airplane Mode up or down.

Can someone on a 6S or 6S+ iOS9.1 check if playing music while the native Camera app (with Live Photos turned off) is working yet or not? It is so annoying having my music turn off while taking a simple picture. I've been resorting to taking pictures in VSCOcam as it doesn't utilize Live Photos and keeps music playing in the background. This is THE worst thing about 6S and 6S+ imho.

Makes sense. But it seems more like a bug. It's like the behavior of the search field was intended to be a spotlight pull down, but it acts like a simple scroll extension, instead, because the busy programmers have other things to fix.

I really hope I can get some help from you guys (and girls)!

I have the new iPhone 6S with the lightning fast TouchID, but when I put my finger on the ring, it unlocks instantly but then I see for about 2 seconds a black flash before I see my homescreen.

Any solutions or tips? Thanks in advance! (running the iOS 9.1 beta's)
I've had this, I think it's a bug with Siri launching if you keep your finger on the home button for too long. My home button is pretty "soft' compared to those on other iPhones.
