I want to know the same exact thing. I have never seen the Developer Center take this long. When I look in the Developer Member Center and do not see the update for 9.2 beta 4. Is this only an OTA release?
It's already in iOS9.x - Verizon has to do a carrier settings update to "turn it on".come on VZW wifi calling!
iOS 8 had tmobile wifi calling. It's already in iOS9.x - Verizon has to do a carrier settings update to "turn it on".
has anyone tried the AT&T numbersync feature? It seems like a good idea if you have all your devices connected to AT&T. For me, I only have the phone connected to AT&T and everything else uses the phone as the hotspot. Paying extra to buy the ipad with cellular and then paying 10 extra bucks a month does not make sense when the hotspot works perfectly.
I have tried AT&T wifi calling and that seems to do pretty well.
Here is a post I started about the subject. Currently, since Beta 3, the settings are not available to activate the feature. Beta 4 seems to have fixed this for me. I will test more over the next few days but so far, the inability to send reliably and the ability to receive is gone. I can and have so far been sending and receiving with no errors.Wi-fi calling has been great but the numbersync feature has been causing failures sending text messages.
Ewww apps now 'Slide in' when you open them... Looks odd.
EDIT:
Now apps seems to load like they did before.. must have been a bug...
The poster you're quoting used sarcasm font... apparently your device didn't display that properly...only came out 45 mins ago, how do you know your battery life has tripled?
IF you don't mind, could you tell me if your contact groups are FINALLY back into alphabetical order after you install the Beta ? thanks
Better battery life, less lag, better frame rate (eg stuttering in app switcher and 3D Touch menus). How good are we talking? Have Apple got round to fixing the frame rate drops in 3D Touch menus/app switcher?
I checked out your thread. It seems to be all about wifi calling. This I am using and it seems to work pretty well, although I have not tried texting with it. My question, however, was not about wifi calling but about numbersync. Here is a post I started about the subject. Currently, since Beta 3, the settings are not available to activate the feature. don't forget "mine is this big, how big is yours???"This thread looks like a Twitter feed from a group of middle school girls. “Downloading now” “Not showing for me” “I got it” “Where is it” “Slow DL”

I am just looking for use cases where numbersync would make sense instead of wifi-calling and hand-off.

I would read through again. It hardly covers wifi calling. Numbersync is to use your phone number to make calls on devices that by themselves do not have calling abilities or they rely on your iPhone directly connected to make a call. Numbersync will allow you to use your iPad, Wifi connected and nowhere near your phone, to make and receive calls as if it was a giant iPhone. It works well. I can place my iPhone in airplane mode and talk through my iPad as if it were my phone and when calling people they have no idea since the number they see on their caller ID is that of my cellphone. My iPad is not a cellular model. I do this with my Apple Watch too.I checked out your thread. It seems to be all about wifi calling. And you're referring to 9.2 beta 4?Can confirm that 3D Touch animation on apps is still about 30fps on the 6s Plus, whereas it's 60fps on the 6s. Bummer. I was hoping that one of these betas would finally fix that.
battery life tripled? The beta has been out less than an hour............go figure
