Im with Virgin Media (UK) only on their lowish tariff...
Speedtest.net says (even with downloading the file and general web use) download speed of 11.20mb/s so can't imagine that its me!
have now downloaded 122mb in about 35 mins.
This may be a dumb question, but Home Sharing works both ways, right? As in I can stream music from my iPhone to my Mac without my iTunes library and listen to it there?
Nope

Also, anyone else think these iOS sizes are getting ridiculous? iPhone 4 version is almost 700 MB.I hope iOS 5 introduces small, wireless updates, rather than requiring an entire reinstall of the iOS.

You can already do this if your iOS device is plugged into your computer.
I did a "Option + Update" in iTunes and the Multitasking Gestures are still there.
Assuming we are getting the file from the same source.

Did you click on the Direct Link, or the sub links? When I clicked on the Deposit File link, it gave me a wait time of 3hrs, but when I switched to the direct link I only gave me a 30 minute wait time (and I'm already done and have already started downloading the iPhone 4 file with 40 minutes to go).
True, but I don't make a habit of carrying my USB cable around with me.
No.
I'm eager to find out if the update will enable screen mirroring on the iPhone 4. That would be awesome.
Maybe you shouldYou're already carrying your whole laptop!
It's inconvenient enough that I won't bother. It would've been cool to have my library automagically appear on my MacBook just as if it was on it, without having to do anything.
Maybe in 4.4?
Rule #1 of the internet, always complain about what you don't have!
Same here. I'm much more interested in Lion than iOS 4.3.I really dont care that much about 4.3. Am I alone in that regard?
