Yep, the 4th gen has the A4 processor - like the iPhone 3GS. iOS7 not gonna work.
To be honest, I don't see anything new.
I don't see an option for iCloud keychain sync anymore.
The unlock sound is also gone forever...
There are also new backgrounds...
And just in case those of you who plan to download this from a Third Party have NOT read the following:

So if you were to set up your iPhone with the GM as a brand new iPhone, then wouldn't that be activating after Sept 1st? thus being able to download the iWork apps for free?
I was able to install the GM using iTunes in Windows. I guess when I downloaded it the first time (the DMG) it was damaged, as it wouldn't update on my Mac either. So I downloaded the DMG again, and extracted the IPSW and it is now about done updating (for those who want to use Windows) I only used Windows as it's the machine I'm working on at the moment, and its easier to not have to flip back and forth between the two.
Oh well, it updated, but iTunes says I need version 11.1 or later to use it.. no biggie as I was setting it up as new anyhow so I'll just re-download my apps, etc and back it up on my Mac and wait til 11.1 is out for Windows.

Thank you. I am not a dev just concerned how this is going to work next week when I finally get it on my phone. Thought I could find out on this thread but it has seemed like a bunch of 10 year olds arguing back and forth instead.
Setting up iPhone as new wont make any difference, warranty=activation date stays same. So this wont work
You need to go to the developer portal to download. Registering a UDID means you can beta test apps for a developer you are working with.
iPhone 4 has an A4 processor and can get iOS 7. The 3GS never was labelled as having an A4

Do you need iTunes 11 B2? It says you only need iTunes 11 to install the GM on the developer site.
I was able to restore the iPhone to the GM on a Windows Machine.
Of course, I couldn't get my data back onto my iPhone from that backup, so I just used my iCloud backup instead.
