Not in my Dev Center

I cannot see the download either. Great, not only has Apple not approved my contract yet, but now I'm second class and cannot get this download either. "That thing got my blood aboilin'!".

New features are HIGHLY unlikely...I'll be happy with more stability and increased performance for starters.

It's been SEEDED...it's not publicly available yet.

Thanks, but it's not there for me. I'm a paid SDK member ($500/year), but I have not paid the $99 for the certificate for uploading to the App Store.

Oh maybe that is why, I think only iPhone developers get these Betas???

I want stability and a calendar with more options, repeating alarms and ability to select a ringtone/sound for the alerts as well. Thanks :)

I'm fully paid up (ADC Select member, iPhone Dev Program) and I don't see anything on the main iPhone page except the usual links for SDK 9m2199a (final) and things like the Program Portal. It doesn't appear to be listed on connect.apple.com for me either; most recent thing to download there is a QT seed.

Pages seem to download instantly for me. But I could just have a good connection today :)

I think you are confused or confusing us. You are not running the 2.1 firmware are you? If not, then your fast downloads have nothing to do with 2.1 firmware story.

I hope he's confusing us and is really running 2.1 cause I would LOVE Safari on the iPhone to load as fast as it does on the desktop... Its saddening when I have to wait for 30 seconds for something like NYT to load when it loads in 1.5 seconds on the desktop

I don't give a crap about new features, I just want them to make this thing stable. Mine's been rebooting itself multiple times a day with 2.0, not to mention that Safari is laggier that ****.

I definitely agree on the stability issues... there's much to be resolved.

Lag in SMS and contacts is painful, and things definitely break and require a restart every few days.

One thing I'd really like to see is internal apps being exempt from the one-app-at-a-time rule somehow. If I receive a message while playing a game, the game pauses and a dialog is displayed. That is good. If, however, I choose to reply to the message, the game exits and I lose my progress. This needs to change!

Oh, and the ability to SAVE IMAGES FROM SAFARI would be good!

Yes, yes you are. For instance, say someone sends you an eBay auction number via AIM or TXT or something and you just want to copy the long number into the search box on ebay.com. Oh..... too bad.. no copy and paste you're screwed. Now you have to either find a piece of paper and write it down or ask the person "nicely" if they could please send you a link to the auction via email so you can hopefully click on it.

I have been an iPhone user since the week after the launch of 1.0 and for the life of me can not figure out what the obsession is with the iPhone and copy/paste. Is there something I'm missing?

I'm just hoping for...

1. No more lag (I've had periods up to 30+ seconds where the phone just becomes unresponsive)
2. Stability (I have absolutely no idea if it's the apps or if it's the 2.0 software, but applications crash ALL the time on me)

And that's about it. That would be a huge deal if they released the push functionality for applications that soon before September... it would almost make up for the MobileMe fiasco.

Almost.
