Get to work on Windows???

Has anyone got the Beta 4 to work on a Windows install since the iTunes isn't available for windows?

I have beta testers that are on beta 3 and they have windows only. I want to make sure they don't get stuck with an unactivated iPhone.

i didn't have this button ever on beta 3, if i wanted to dial a number, i had to add it to my contacts

haven't finished installing 4 just yet...

has anyone else noticed the graphical interface has been slightly upgraded...
improved speed, and maybe a slightly improved screen quality.

can anyone confirm any system changes?

This is a nice little touch. When a Bluetooth headset is selected, the volume bar is removed and the headset name is displayed.

Hey do you mind if I ask how you guys get those screen captures from the phone? Thanks.

Push the Home and Power buttons at the same time. The screen will flash and it will be in your photo app. Then you can sync it with your Mac.

Any issues with installing iTunes 8.2 on non-dev computers (folks who paid devs to get in on the beta)? I'm ready to install 8.2, but I'm afraid Apple might somehow find out that I'm not a dev and make it so I can't activate my iPhone.

shouldn't be any problem, i have nothing on my PC signifying that i'm a developer, and that's where i did the itunes and iphone beta install

just as a warning or those who with cute little hacks... apple has added this warning to beta 4 release ..

I havn't read this in a while...
but just in case it's new.

Activate Cellular Service with Carrier. Development on iPhone requires
activation with your carrier network. Please activate your device prior to
installing iPhone OS 3.0 beta software. If your device has not been activated,
you may not be able to do so after you have installed iPhone OS 3.0 beta
software. If you do not have a carrier network in your region or do not require
access to iPhone features (camera, GPS, phone), iPod touch can be used
for development and testing.

Check Your Data Plan. If your are using a SIM card from another cellular
account, we recommend you call your Carrier to verify the account has an
unlimited data plan to prevent unanticipated charges.

Feels zippier to me all around. The ultimate test will be to run Maps while on the road (with someone's help of course!)
