What about the 'error -36' one regularly gets while copying files/folders from Mac on to a USB drive?
It's not just me. Google it and you'll see many more are affected by this. Tried almost everything suggested. 'error -36' still shows up!
The only way around is: Copy files one-by-one. Coz once you drag-n-drop an entire folder, the error -36 pops up!
I hope Apple fixes this. It's an irritating bug!
What problem are you having with expose, other than from Chrome users I havent heard of any issues with Expose.
Im not having any problems with 10.6.2 so really this is just another excuse for me to keep ignoring software update.
Didn't Apple revise the MacBook not too far back?![]()
I really don't like the new exposé, if you have two windows instead of putting them side by side to view largely and keeping them a good size, it puts them in tiny little thumbnails stacked vertically leaving a huge amount of unused space on the screen while i have to squint to figure out which one i want, also, when you have more than about three windows open the are all the same size and usually go in the exact direction you don't expect it to go (like a window on the left will go to the right when in exposé) finally, they are all the same size, so my adium chat will be the same size as a safari window the size of my screen so its much harder to tell which window you want. expose actually slowed down my workflow quite a bit
Dude, what does this have to do with this thread? iTunes doesn't get upgraded with OSX, it gets updated every September along with the iPods. And they wouldn't add big features like blu ray in a 10.6.x release, they do that in a 10.X release. Your only hope as of now is 10.7. Unless Apple's start shipping with blu ray drives before 10.7 comes, blu ray playback is highly unlikely. So much for those reports of Blu-Ray movie playback finally being delivered in 10.6... *annoyed*
Hopefully iTunes will finally go 64-bit?
Maybe Apple should disallow flash on Mac OS X until they make a 64-bit version too?j/k
Mac 10.6.2 HDTV HDMI via DisplayPort connectivity is abysmal, in my experience...
So is Logic in 64-bit that much better than in 32-bit? Never understood the benefits..
10.6 has been especially buggy for a release touted as focused on stability not features. In hindsight I suspect that was code for we're busy with iPhone OS and the integration issues with 10.6.
I was hoping 10.6.3 would be the release for grandma, but I wonder now. I definitely will be waiting a couple of weeks after release before I dive and let the crash test dummies feel the pain.
10.5.x and 10.6.x continue to be bug fix installs for me. The real work still gets done on 10.4.11 and 9.2.2. Plenty of folks I talk to talk about getting a G4 again for functionality and leave the Intel macs for media manipulation.
Rocketman
Did you know you can push the spacebar and zoom in on the expose windows?

I agree, Mac OS X hasn't been rock solid since Leopard was released. It's as if Apple doesn't care any more.
Wait, Apple still makes Macs?

Same here, and also same experience from all my friends! Solid and fast!Okay, I have problems with people who state things like this. Snow Leopard runs amazingly for me. It's been a VERY solid upgrade so far and it's only going to get better. I don't understand why everyone has problems with it. What are you doing to your computer to make it run like that?
I love Snow Leopard. I admit it. It doesn't crash and it's wicked fast.
Note: Those have been my experiences, so don't bash me.
What an annoying comment.
Apple makes computing hardware and software. Macs are just one product line. Who says that computers need to fit a certain design/form factor?
All of their stuff, aside from their traditional iPods, run a variant of OS X. So why the negativity about Apple not supporting their Macs?
I know, it was sarcasm, but really... why bother?
