The first 10.7.* update will most likely bring the two builds in uniform. It's just a bug fix release, they aren't going to piss off a whole load of developers.

so the first one wasn't really the golden master then was it...
ML Runs fine on mine; I have the 2.6ghz i7, 8 gig RAM, 500 GB SSD model.
Do you have automatic graphics switching enabled in the Energy Saver control panel?
If you previously got the GM from apple via legitimate means, i.e., by redeeming a code for build 13A598 you can also get build 13A603 from the Purchases tab in the mac app store.
Then you can then make a bootable usb for build 13A603 using the exact same method I previously posted for build 13A598: https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/18081307/
...Apple is reportedly targeting a late October launch for Mavericks and it's possible the company will give a final release date at Tuesday's media event...

I am running 13A598 but have not received anything about a new release. No App Store update nor a redemption code via Appleseed.
Also, when I click the OS X Mavericks items in the Purchases tab (I really did get a redemption code for 13A598) it says "not available in the Dutch store".
Just wondering: how does this all work?
Wipe my machine? Clean Install?Yep those who think they are running the GM ahead of everyone else have to start all over again with a clean install
So unless you're happy to be stuck OS X 10.9.0 for the duration, you're wiping your machine and installing again.
It appears that only a few people can do it this way. In most cases there will be an error when trying to download it and there is no new redeem code for devs.
Interesting. I'll just stick with 598 and wait for 10.9.1. I've had no problems with mavericks so far.
Mavericks seems pretty finished. What's the likelihood of us getting a release on Tuesday?
Now you know why another, much larger operating system company uses "Release Candidate" to name the final test builds.
It's much less confusing to turn an RC into a GM, than to have multiple GMs floating about.

Software update will not work on the build you are running.
