I've heard this is really buggy and people are speculating it won't ship in September. Odd, for a "catch-up" on the fundamentals release.
Any views from people who have used the betas?
I know there are others who feel that way; but I don’t get it. What could possibly be so appealing about Snow Leopard that it is preferred over High Sierra and other subsequent OSs?Just as 100 other people say “No thanks, I’ll stick with Snow Leopard”![]()
Not seeing it here in Florida on my Late 2013 retina MacBook Pro
I reinstalled the utility and it then downloaded from the App Store. Might try that?
Don't tried that did not work your spend 1/2 waiting for it to install and comes out as Mondays up date build 17a358a 17a360aI reinstalled the utility and it then downloaded from the App Store. Might try that?
i ave no issue with APFS, indeed is super fast. You need to understand this is a beta! Anyway you can continue with old JHFS+. It will ask about APFS during first boot. I suggest you to do a backup then install and upgrade to APFS which is incredible.I downgraded to Sierra because of the APFS-mess. Is there any way to install it keeping JHFS+ without using an HDD and cloning it to SSD?
First time since Yosemite DB1 I had to downgrade.![]()
With this file system update, does the update process convert the file system or does it wipe and install afresh after formatting?

Good catch, I bet you're right or they're having some backend issues pushing it.With the number of people not seeing this, is it possible it’s an update just targeted to specific devices?

How long will that continue? It seems a lot of software no longer supports OSX Snow Leapord.Just as 100 other people say “No thanks, I’ll stick with Snow Leopard”![]()
No, same thing happened on Monday. It just took forever to roll out to everyone. Not sure why as like someone said, iOS updates usually hit everyone simultaneously. With the number of people not seeing this, is it possible it’s an update just targeted to specific devices?
