I must be the only person who hasn't had any WiFi issues with any Yosemite builds.

Then again, I'm using a Time Capsule, which you would expect to be tested more.

If it affected everybody at once, it'd be fixed a long time ago.

I have zero Wi-Fi issues on my iMac but not on my rMBP which is horrible. My Air has some issues but not all of them. That's why Apple can't fix it but I'd really wish they just stop everything else and focus on Wi-Fi only.

Chrome is being sluggish

With the latest build of Yosemite 10.10.2 Google Chrome is being really slow. Youtube and Vimeo videos are glitchy and scrolling is sluggish. Safari works just fine though.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Ok, I know you guys have many isolated issues with Yosemite but I'm pretty sure this update focuses on just Wifi, the biggest issue that a lot of people are experiencing

After the 10.x.1 release, which typically contains fixes for the biggest day-zero issues and nothing else, the 10.x.x releases change many other things besides what are in the developer release notes.

Yes, videos don't move when I click on the progress icon, I used to be able to drag it across to speed up to a further spot in the video.
safari has crashed on me multiple times with Yosemite, something that literally never happened before.

No WiFi issues; don't use it on the mini, MBP works great.

Hope it fixes my closing iTunes bug. About one quarter of the time I get an error message that says iTunes closed unexpectedly when I close it purposely.

The worst bug on my mini is that occasionally apps will not open, their icons just bounce. When it happens it is usually for multiple apps. I often have to reboot, then all is fine.

Some UI revision like some shape to the status bar (it's too flat) and a little ink on the numerous, too-dim, grey text scattered everywhere would be appreciated.

For those awaiting to hear if it bricks retina iMac, good news, it doesn't anymore in this beta. I rebooted several times and woke up from sleep, no black screens.

I'm testing this in Chrome Canary, no issues there with videos.

Not sure if this is new in this build, but if you open an application that hasn't been signed with a developer ID, rather than right clicking to open it and then selecting "Open", you can now also go to the GateKeeper preferences to open it right from the preference pane.

Not any easier but it's there.

EDIT: oh and they broke the dictionary popover: http://cl.ly/Yxai

Not seeing this here.

Is the UI still as laggy as hell? I doubt that apple can fix this soon. Yosemite is broken beyond repair.

I've never experienced any wifi issues with Yosemite either. I had more issues with Mavericks.

Seems a bit smoother to me.

The OS X release cycle as it has been for the past several years:
Spend 7 months not being able to do basic things on your computer riddled with bugs, lags, crashes, performance issues and instability problems. Spend 5 months enjoying the OS that finally kind of works well enough to use. Upgrade to new release. Repeat. I do wish Apple just made ONE good OS and stuck to it until it was really absolutely necessary to release something new. Like Mavericks was great, why didn't they just stick with it without really changing anything for, say, 5 years? There was nothing wrong with it, why change it? It's not like people were begging for new features or anything. And the UI looked fine, it's not like it was that outdated. Some people still use Windows XP because it was a great OS. I think performance and stability far outweighs features and a modern UI for a desktop OS.

I have not been able to do a time machine backup since upgrading to Yosemite from Mavericks.

I have also have major issues with my MS Office for 2011 crashing regularly since the Yosemite update.

I never had any of these issues when running Mavericks and I am not a happy camper at the moment.

How could Apple release Yosemite to the public with such a major bug such as the time machine backup issue????

Apple Mail had caused me minor problems of late with uncoordinated chiming of New Mail up to 15 seconds after the badge appears and a refusal to Quit which cancelled Logout, having to Force Quit.

1.On a positive note, as an experiment, I uninstalled Flash Player 10 days ago and the speed difference to Safari is already apparent. So far no web sites have asked for it.

2.Also, Mail has been behaving itself, multiple Launches and Quits without having to Force Quit.

3.The spinning Beach Ball is a memory now.

4. Startup from Shut Down is way faster!

Wow. I'm glad you're not in charge. Five years with little change made? Progress? Who needs that when we can just go with the same crap for long periods of time.

As for your timeline, I don't know what you consider basic things. I picked up ML on day one, and Mavericks as well. I even used Yosemite until I handed my Air over to my sister. It worked for me.
