There is a vertical dent in the screen right in down the middle so if there is a horizontal line across the screen it will dip down by a few pixels for perhaps a couple of centimetres. It's like an inch wide strip in the middle of the screen has just dropped by a few pixels. Can fix by unplugging the monitor and re-plugging so not a big problem but just one more minor annoyance.
Same issue here, vertical dent, upwards, was present with my 2018 MBP13 TB, goes away after re- plugging. Appears maybe once a week, but I am not sure that I notice it always. (I do go mobile and unplug my monitor daily)

I hope they fix kernel panics while sleep for M1 Mac Mini.
This thing is so annoying, waking up to the full blasting monitor with login, after which the report of the kernel crash says good morning!

still not fixed the auto AirPods switching to macOS still doesn't work only to iPhone and iPad
It is a preference in Bluetooth, you can choose to connect to Mac manually. You need them to be connected to Mac to see the option button

Got my replacement M1 MacBook Pro today after the first refused to have internet for more than 10 seconds.
Same issue with this one.
I’m hoping 11.2 fixes it or it will have to go back for a refund.
Because it is not an issue with your computer then. It is software or connection.

What are you talking about? Maybe your Internet setup is just bad?
Turned the MacBook on fresh out the box and within 5 mins it had no internet connection but WiFi still connected. Can’t even browse to the router page.
In the house I have other MacBooks, windows laptop, iPhones, iPads, Nintendo switch, ring doorbell and echos.... no issues at all. I’ve seen plenty of other post from people with the same issue though.
Router is an ASUS WiFi 6 router too.

Mail sucks in 11.1 - super annoying the columns From / Subject / Date don't stay where you set them, they reset EVERY single time you open an email. How does it make any sense that the Date column should be same default width as the Subject?

Anyone running on M1 tried the dotnet core debugger yet?

BUMPY RIDE that was!

Set the 11.2 RC installing.
Mac mini M1 restarted.
Screen went BANANANANNSS!! Like an old Commodore 64 game loading screen.
I left it for about 10 mins, then decided to kill the power.
Turned back on, install completed as expected. PHEW

Now the good news
  1. I can now have WIFI turned on without it making my mouse laggy
  2. I can now have my Magic Mouse and magic track pad connected without one of them becoming unusable
  3. The entire system is MUCH MUCH faster.
  4. Safari scroll lag is gone entirely.
  5. I have 2 ultra wide Red Eagles connected (one HDMI, one DP) and both appear to be doing everything they are meant to
HOWEVER
This is only after I have just booted into the new os. So now the waiting game begins to see if any bluetooth issues do crop up with usage time and to see if screens waking from long sleep are still an issue. My DP connected display always woke ok, but the HDMI one would always wake at 800x600 and I would have to change the resolution twice to get it to show up at the right res.

Also worth noting, the native resolutions are STILL NOT shown unless I OPTION + CLICK on the scaled display choice.

Also the MonitorControl app still reports not displays connected.

Overall, so far, very happy and hopeful.

If the screens stay the right res and I can finally keep wifi on again to use airdrop, that will be progress.

RC is not GM, it is the closest version to GM, hence it's still numbered without letter(usually) and if the version is 18A42, the final version would be 18A43 or 44 depending on last minute changes

Isn’t Release Candidate more of a Microsoft verbiage? Sounds icky to me, like maybe it’s a good release, maybe not. Good luck.
The Apple (pre-NeXT) equivalent back in the day used to be "final candidate", as I recall.

That said, an RC/FC isn't the same as a GM. A GM should be identical to what ships; the term is literally from how CDs used to be created. An RC/FC is a candidate for what hopefully becomes the final version.

"With iOS/iPadOS 14.2, Apple stopped using Golden Master and was replaced by Release Candidate."

not saying you are wrong, just clarifying for others that there is no longer ever a GM / Golden Master by name.

Can’t get this build to install on my M1 MBA. The partial update kept getting stuck “preparing”.

I blew away the option to get dev seeds, restarted, and then reinstalled the dev seed option. When I loaded software update I was offered the full 11.2 installer.

Downloaded that, started the install, and then *that* one also gets stuck preparing. I left it overnight but still no joy.

I was trying to update from the previous 11.2 release so updates had been working. Looks like I may need to restore :/

Has anyone else run into this issue?
