So far I’m pleased. Some bad issues with siri shortcuts seem to be fixed (for now - last time they worked for awhile, too, before dying). Speed seems even faster on an iPhone X - launching the settings.app was so fast that I gasped, and I never notice these things.

Never seen that alert before. iMessage –– yes, iCloud –– no.

There seems to be a stronger haptic feedback while using Touch ID, and it vibrates on unlock. The home button doesn’t need to be pressed to open the phone anymore, and instead opens if the finger is on the sensor.
Has always been like this. It’s in the settings.

Does group FaceTime work on older devices eg iPhone 6 on beta 2?

Release notes say no. It still says this: "iPod touch (6th generation), iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and iPad Air support only audio (no video) during Group FaceTime calls in iOS 12 beta."

*first thing after update, I opened the app and noticed the same thing lol

So far this beta seems so much better and faster. No issues with calls, messages (AT&T, iPhone X), and stuff that was broken seems to be fixed now. Nice job, Apple...

"There are multiple known issues in the second developer beta of iOS 12"
I think I will skip this and wait for BETA 3 - it seems like a major regression and my Ipad PRO it's working great with the current beta.

the home button vibrating when unlocking is kind of annoying, but i'm sure i'll get used to it. couldn't see an option to turn off either in touchID or sound/haptics.

Weird bug when changing settings in a Phone menu sub-section, after getting back to Phone menu the available options duplicate 5-6x down the screen.

Will file a bug when I can duplicate and document the behavior...
