“It’s doesn’t affect me, must not be worth addressing or even considering” is not an acceptable saying in this industry. If it is being seen by a user, other users are experiencing it.

Trivial stuff” is what dramatically contributed to iOS 11’s terrible rap sheet and it’s concerning that Apple seems to be making that mistake again, so soon.

Is it weird I have more faith in Apple than some weirdo that shouldn’t have been downloading betas in the first place? I don’t think I’m alone on this one. ;)

Might be people having different experiences with different use cases, different apps and services, different devices, etc.

Or it could be a troll that shouldn’t be downloading betas? Time will tell, but I have had a great experience and I trust that Apple with billions at stake has it under control.

I’m a developer and attempting to polish my applications for the next release. I lack faith because of my direct experience with their current codebase.

Besides that, my “should or shouldn’t be” using betas doesn’t negate the significant issues present or that have coming up during this process.

Consider another line of work then?

You mean... the one released today?

Tbh they are only half wrong. Apple only released iOS 13 GM for iPhone... which is missing some major features and set to be replaced in under two weeks after the public release.

Sounds like a totally normal and perfect release cycle to me! /s

iOS 13.0 is being released, that's really what it comes down to, as that is what was being commented on.

If you want to get technical: the original comment just says 13.0GM. They released half of the 13.0GM packages; whether you derive iOS 13 and iPad 13 as two separate OSes (I don’t), the comment itself was half right, half wrong.

The original discussions about this were about some people saying that iOS 13.0 will never be released publicly and things will just jump to 13.1. In some of those posts it was made out to seem like that was a given and that it was basically silly that someone would have a different view of it. Clearly the silliness lies elsewhere.
