May not be the best workaround, but I setup my wife, family and close friends as emergency contacts. they always get through, regardless of settings and they have unique tones. Then set the default message sound to nothing.

Thanks man, I think this should work for now. Although I hope they fix it before the public release since emergency contacts also ring on silent. The thing that worries me is that this feature has been missing since the beta 1, and 10 betas down, it is still not there.

I'm not sure if I'm imagining it, but I seem to recall reading an article a few years ago how Apple had a means to upgrade the software well the devices were in transit. Was I dreaming?

I am using it on the SE, if that helps. The performance is fantastic, you'll notice it especially when opening apps.

Yup. I really don’t see how they’re going to release iOS 13 shortly after the keynote this year. In other years, that worked out ok, but the current dev and public betas as still a complete mess. From my own experience, iOS is further behind than iPadOS though

In my book a discernible and annoying lag is a different thing to a phone that has been absolutely killed.

I have PB2 on my iPhone SE and 9.7inch iPad Pro Cellular, Now I find I can't seem to get messages to send on either device. I can write the message but the send button is non-responsive. Also on when I enable cellular on the iPad Pro no signal level appears. Anyone seen similar? was OK on PB1!

I had the same problems on 13.0 PB7. Now all fixed on 13.1 PB2

Anyone else had this My iPhone 8 Plus Suddenly came up with a new software update is available update to IOS 13.1. This is a Phone that is NOT registered for beta software and is running 12.4.1. On checking for software it then states iOS 12.4.1 is unto date but the notice that a software update is available stays.

I have that's my main phone and would never put a beta on a primary device. Spoke to Apple and they said it is a glitch. Got ride of it by doing a DFU reset on my phone.

Wish they would issue weekly updates for Catalina that to me is more important to get that right than work on a post release version of IOS

yeah Catalina is causing me some issues too. I have a lot of key iCloud Drive folders not showing up. They work fine on PadOS beta but nowhere to be found on iCloud Drive Catalina. I’ve checked all the iCloud settings.

Hope this fixes the battery drain issue for the Watch.

13.1 beta 2 has done wonders for battery life on my watch down to 46% after 11 hours 35 mins

I took it off of my phone, when I went under my contacts and tried to send a text to anyone under my contact "WORK" it would message the 15 people under that contact. Let's say I have "Maria" listed under there as a custom name, I would click her and it would text for example "John" instead and you have no clue because iPhone doesn't tell you who you're texting under a group contact like that. It was awful so I had to restore my phone to iOS 12.
