Anyone having issues in dialing a lycamobile number? I was able to dial that number just before updating the beta. But after updating beta i am not able to dial. Looks like all other numbers works fine.

Would you mind posting a few screenshots, showing this? Thanks!

The first shows the search results; notice the "more" button. The second shows the result of choosing "more" next to albums. In Beta 1, (I think) and in 8.3, you get the full list of albums in the search results.

Yeah I had the issues others have mentioned so I downgraded to iOS 8.3 until they fix them. I know it's a beta so not complaining just stating my experience.

Bye bye tunes :(.

I saw right in the article "Some users are losing their music." But I was like "Naaaw. It won't happen to me." Here I am sittin in this empty house... Oops nope that's a quote to a song I don't have any more :D. Here I am... No tunes... Luckily I planned ahead for such an event and only install beta's on my iPad :p

My iPhone updated with no problem, my iPhone doesn't see this this update, anyone else with this problem?

As someone who actually wants zero bytes of media on my devices and solely uses iTunes Match to stream my music, I'm very satisfied with the new Music app.

The main reason for that is that it appears Apple has finally fixed it where you couldn't remove tracks from your iOS device that was previously streamed via iTunes Match. If you ticked off "Show all music" in Settings, you could see those tracks in the Music app, but you couldn't swipe to delete it. Drove me nuts. I know iOS intelligently deletes these copies as storage decreases on your device but I wanted full control of that. Before you had to manually redownload the track to the device (even though it was already stored in the device), and then you could swipe to delete. Now if you uncheck "Show All Music" in Settings, the Music app now finally shows zero content with the message "music purchased in iTunes will appear here". I was able to confirm in the Settings app that indeed Music takes up zero storage in Settings>General>Usage>Manage Storage. Finally is all I can say.

I also would like to see Apple bring this control over to iCloud Photos for both iOS and OS X where we could do a quick reset, much like Safari, and wipe all local full quality copies of our photos from our devices to quickly and manually free storage.

Anyway, also glad landscape album view in Music is finally gone as well. Good riddance. Though I'm still trying to get used to the location of things in the new UI.

Are custom iTunes Radio stations not working for anyone else?

Better question... Does anyone other than me use iTunes Radio?

I'm so sick of this playlist, singles culture. It has ruined the Music app once and for all. I will continue to have to rely on the Picky app for logical music management. Apple gives us a logical way to scroll through our music since day 1 of the first iPod and then with iOS 7 and beyond has decided they know a better a way which is to select an artist and then scroll through EVERY SONG you have of that artist on your phone. They can't even give us the option of the traditional method of scrolling through our music? Doesn't matter if you have 200 or more songs by an artist on your phone, you have to scroll through ALL of them instead of simply tapping Artist > list of Albums by the artist > select a song, like was done for the previous 10+ years on iPods/iPhones.

Some of us actually still listen to full albums, Apple. I wish you would understand that.

Well I just tried Siri and it's broken. Because it broke it on my iPhone, it's also currently broken on my Apple Watch. Awesome.

Ugh. I shouldn't have done this one. My music is all gone. Haven't tried Siri on my watch yet. No bueno. Trying to get my music back now...

Looks like a bug where even locally downloaded stuff will only show if show all music is enabled... I've tried all combinations of signing in / out of the iTunes store and disabling / enabling iTunes Match and Show All Music and the only way it shows me the local stuff on my phone is with both iTunes Match and Show All Music enabled...

But then the fun part - put your phone into Airplane mode and bam, all your music disappears again.... although weirdly it knows that tracks are available locally because the song that is currently playing when you turn on airplane mode carries on playing fine and has full information availablle in the Now Playing screen even though the library shows No Music.

I foresee quite a few 8.4 betas as this is a BIG change to the Music app and if even the basics are still this flakey in beta 2....

Update: Interestingly the Music app seems to treat entering Airplane mode differently than manually turning off both wifi and cellular data individually.... turn them off yourself and local music stays visible and playable - you still need show all music on to see your music in the first place - whereas turning Airplane Mode on immediately takes you back to the No Music / No Playlists screens...

same bug with the video app

8.4 beta also seems to break the double tap to bring the top half of the screen down for iPhone 6+ and presumably iPhone 6 as well

downgraded back to 8.3 by downloading the update file and using the hold down option and click on update while in iTunes trick to just update to 8.3 without having to restore or anything

edit: I don't recommend doing the update trick, my iPhone still doesn't show my music without show all music flipped on and worse it's missing in usage, the space is still taken up but iOS has no idea with what

beware

my music went puff as well and its not re-synching either ...

My music also fails to show up in the player, but according to the settings app (manage space) it's still there. Perhaps this is why it won't sync: it's actually still on the device. The app just can't see it.

The so-called workarounds of showing all music do work. That is, of course, until you lose Internet.

Anyone having Siri problems? She just responds with something about having a bit of trouble and to try again. It happens repeatedly no matter the command.

Edit: I see others are having the same problem.

It's not 146MB, as its 1.7GB for my iPhone 6 Plus. And what fools puts music on an iPhone which means even less battery run time. I use a separate iPod touch for music.

If I choose to even do 8.4 at all, it won't be until the next beta is released. Looks like it is still too buggy. Enjoying a stable phone.

Yeah, my iPhone 6, with the profile installed, refuses to see the update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the profile several times, rebooted the phone, reset all settings, and tried the update on a couple of different networks and cellular, but nothing yet.

beware of Siri no longer working.

Doesn't seem like that's the case for everyone, and for those that do experience it it seems that a reboot and/or resetting some settings gets it back to working.

Fix for missing music..

As other have said, go into Music Settings and click Show All Music. Also, I could only get my music to sync back to my phone (I deleted mine at first in an attempt to get it back before learning about "Show All Music") by going through and clicking each track or album. That seemed to jumpstart it. Leftover songs that wouldn't sync were fixed by tapping each one of them on my phone and syncing again. Seems to fix.
