I find it ridiculous that Apple advertises iOS 9 as improving battery life, even though thus far, the beta version of iOS 9 drains the battery at least twice as fast as iOS 8.0-8.3 did.

This isn't something minor that can be pushed off until later betas - this is a massive problem.

For anyone saying "Oh, it's just a developer version, so it doesn't matter.", consider the fact that we have 0 ability to test how our apps impact battery life right now. The OS drains the battery so fast, we can't tell whether our iPhone died because our app is hogging the battery, or because the OS did it.
I'd usually be one of those "it's a beta, deal with it" guys but I have to be honest too, the battery life is downright horrendous. Like yesterday for example, I got in my car to go see a movie at my local theater and by the time I got there, I had like 25 percent left, really? If you're a true developer, I feel like you'll have to be tethered to your power outlet if you really want to do any app testing.

Are the numbers on the clock icon bolder?

After updating my iPhone to this new b2 (from 8.3), and trying to pair my useless watch that was on OS2, I just can't complete the pairing process. Great.

Anyone still not seeing it OTA?
Despite toggling wifi, restart etc?
Solved: Remove Public Beta Profile in 'Settings -> General -> Profile' and restart.

not sure if these are new:

- In Contacts app, if there might be a similar email for that specific contact it will add it in gray on that contact's card. When tapped, it shows the related email associated with it and asks to ignore or add it to the contact. (have done this twice and both times the app crashes once the email is added)

- In Maps app, directions now has Home, Work, Favorites. (I never use the maps app, this could be old)

Public Beta? Please!
Try that and get back to me, especially if FaceTime still isn't working. I use it constantly and I can't lose it just for the novelty of using an OS a few months before the rest. I'm still excited, but I hope they iron out some of the more serious problems left with it before the Public Beta.

Ehhh, did they change the way icon layout works on the ipad? It is like they morph and change location?

Edit:
properly just me, I had 5 x 5 grid after the install until I change orientation.

This is exactly why they tell you to not install the beta on your primary device.
