Seems like many of us are also having the same issue. Might be too many people updating at once?
I have a feeling my ipad did not fully finish it's restore in beta 1 and that is causing my issue. downloading and going to manually update from itunes

Just FYI, an update to those having the unable to download error, I just tried on both devices and had success on both, about a minute apart on each.

Edit: Just wanted to include that I did nothing special, no reboot or anything, just tried again.

Yeah, same. Now sitting at "Update Requested."

Beta 2: battery is MUCH improved!

Also, iCloud issues (which I believe led to battery drain) have been resolved. I can now back up to iCloud again, and I can also delete iCloud backups (especially that 0KB one that was annoying and probably causing backups to not work in the first place).

iCloud storage reported is still off (I'm missing around 40 GB).

Not sure if it has been around in beta 1 alreadyc but when I was browsing a bit, searching for new tweaks I found out there's an option to convert a note to PDF. :p

Anyway, so far this beta runs great on my iPhone 6. Won't be able to properly test battery life until tomorrow. :p

Still no OTA update available for me.. Anyone running into this issu?

Yep, no update for me either. I'm currently in northern Ontario on vacation and wondering if their content delivery servers are just taking time to update this far north. I tried connecting to a VPN in Toronto, New York and San Francisco to see if that would help and no luck.

I find it ridiculous that Apple advertises iOS 9 as improving battery life, even though thus far, the beta version of iOS 9 drains the battery at least twice as fast as iOS 8.0-8.3 did. How can Apple claim an extra hour of battery life when their beta gets less than half the battery life?

This isn't something minor that can be pushed off until later betas - this is a massive problem.

For anyone saying "Oh, it's just a developer version, so it doesn't matter.", consider the fact that we have 0 ability to test how our apps impact battery life right now. The OS drains the battery so fast, we can't tell whether our iPhone died because our app is hogging the battery, or because the OS did it.

Sorry, when was iOS 9 released to the world? Mmmm. That's what I thought.

Any update on how sensitive siri is to home button touches?

Less sensitive, back to how it should be for me.

Battery is life hugely improved, half hour usage with brightness up half way and I'm still sitting at 100%. No crashes, stable as anything.
