Quick question for anyone else with Apple Card. If I install this beta version on my daily driver iPhone XR that currently runs iOS 12.4, will Apple Card continue to work?

I’m running iOS 13 public beta on my older phone which doesn’t have Apple Card installed in the Wallet App.

Thanks!
Apple Card works fine on beta for me

It's more interesting, if you see the numberless bugs in Catalina.
For me, WiFi is broken (needs to be switched off and on a few seconds after every wake up), Photos crashes frequently, several graphics issues, some unexpected behavior in countless applications, and much, much more.

I've been testing this on two 27" iMacs (2013, 2019) and a 2017 MBP (non Touch Bar).
Catalina is a genuine POS as it is right now.

Mail app seems to be running 1000% better.
Still with problems when sending e-mails. It not always search your contacts.

Is anyone out there running this beta on their primary device?
Yes, since Public Beta 1. In fact, I can't remember a time on my past two phones when I *haven't* been on a public beta. Luckily I haven't had any showstoppers, just some annoyance bugs.

Current phone is an iPhone 8 Plus. Previous phone was an iPhone 6.

Share ETA is STILL missing in this release. Was really hoping it would be back, with the defect around ETA and auto-sharing fixed.

Tons of them. Probably thousands in US alone.
[doublepost=1565922644][/doublepost]I want to know if Game Center bug is fixed somehow. If not, I will need to send a feedback.
Specifically, games that rely on Game Center to pull user data will not login and shows an error message.

This reminds me of my Dad, who loves to say his computer "crashed" when he was doing something. It's his generic word for when things don't work, as in "My computer crashed when I tried to send the email, so I had to type the whole thing over again."
Yes. Just like “Kleenex”, bricked has become a generic term. Words and meanings morph over time. Some need to lighten up.

You don't know what 'bricked' means!

I've never seen a bricked Apple device, despite of some serious hardware failures.
There is always a way to restore your device from backup or the entire system via iTunes or Finder.

Android devices can brick, because manufacturers don't give you the tools for a low level restore.
Apple does, so your iDevice can't be bricked by a failed system update.
Mine was. I did an OTA ios update and the phone went into a never-ending loop. Looked online, tried every solution, nothing worked. Took it to Apple geniuses, called Apple support, phone repair places—no one could fix it. Apple told me all they could do was “offer” me a new phone (at full price). After a month of trying, I ended up just having to sell the phone for parts. That’s a true brick.

Catalina is already bug free, so no more beta needed
Which means your use case lines with Apple developer PERFECTLY. Congratulations. (No puns intended)

The thing is, many current and old android device can be rooted. That is the closest thing to low level operating system, except literacy controlling registers or something similar.
On the contrary, Apple gives you no tools to “jailbreak”, obviously. That means, if all of those “supposed to be low level” methods provided by Apple fail, your device is pretty much useless at this point. In rare cases, even Apple’s Own tools cannot fix the problem. Given the complexity of current software, I would stay away from calling an Apple device “immune to be bricked”.

Someone please tell me that the find my friends widget is back in this beta? I use it all the time and have done since it was introduced, and I downgraded to iOS 12 due to it being missing.

It’s always been there, just the name changed to ‘findmy’...

Oooops sorry, no, the widget is still missing....

Ugh. Why does it always seem one step forward two steps back. As a heavy user of find my friends loosing the widget is incredibly annoying.

What's the situation with getting the new Betas on Watch and Phone if you're on iOS12/WatchOS 5. I thought the last phone beta required the watch to already be on the the Beta.

I think there was a bit of confusion with the warning message on that. As I understand it iOS 13 works fine with watchOS 5.3 for all betas but as of dev beta 6 / pb 5 if you were already running watchOS 6 you had to be on a watchOS 6 beta 3 or higher.

I think the confusion came about because the dev and public betas are essentially the same build with a different release label so the watchOS warning message was showing in the public beta even though there is no public beta for watchOS.

That's good to hear. We have a couple of applications at work that we depend upon so generally will test a late beat to make sure we can warn off users if there is a problem. In the past we've to needed to update WatchOS versions until they go "live"

Could be that the person who press the button to release the beta is on holiday or the button is broken hence no Catalina beta 6 (Sorry my sense of Hummour)

I see a lot of mixed reactions about the stability of iOS13 still. So tempted to jump on the beta, but I have to resist! I can't have phone instability at work...
I jumped on beta 6 last week and then beta 7. I think it's well enough into the beta cycle that big things, like crashing the phone/ipad have been taken care of...seems solid and smooth.

I still can’t move apps into existing folders. And if I move an app within a folder it jumps back to the home screen.
