    You're right. Currently, there is no way to convert, you can only format.

    I'm somewhat excited about Night Shift in 10.12.4 and APFS (as a startup volume) in 10.13 (hopefully).

    Yes so am I. However, the latest beta (16E189a) seems very stable and the Finder is, dare I say it, snappy.

    Can anyone help RE: three finger drag fix for the 2016 machines? Wondering if i should order another as i returned my custom order last week due to this issue (tried the machines at the apple store also, same deal). Trackpads on 2013 13 retina and 27 iMac magic trackpad work perfectly for me.

    APFS is supposedly being officially released as the HFS+ replacement this year. Most likely to be done with 10.13, and announced at WWDC this summer.
