Im not gonna argue with strangers behind a keyboard but people say i moan about lag yes this is a forum and i speak the truth i have compared both ios 10 and 11 and side by side it a huge delay shutting a app so yes after 10 betas im still go moan and if u dont like it ignore me

Yes it is a major problem cos animation is what u experience every time you touch your phone, ios 11 should be better or same with speed i compare the 7 on 10.3.3 and my 7 plus on 11 and its mad slower

As far as I can see Apple's developers have done a great job with iOS 11. Good performance and nice new features and touches.

Maybe you and/or devices are very special.

I just think we've forgotten how rock solid and smooth iOS 6 truly was. We've just become accustomed to UI stutters and jitters for the past four years since iOS 7. I have a five year old iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1.4 and it is smooth as butter, more so than an iPhone 7 running iOS 10.3.3.

I still have hopes that iOS 11 combined with the new iPhone with its (hopefully) ProMotion display will redeem some of that smoothness back.

Still a bug persists. Turn on the Smart Invert and the battery bar disappears. Also, toggling the wifi through CC disconnects from the connected network and connects to my neighbor's wifi. Very irritating.

I will include you in my evening prayers.

Nope, not a major problem. I bet if you polled 100 people on the street, 5 or less would even mention stuttering 3D touch animations. You WAY overstate how bad it is.

I agree. Closing apps is BY FAR not as snappy on my iPhone 7 compared to iOS 10. There IS a delay. It annoys me a lot. I guess iPhone 8 will not have that problem. Surprise...

Also: 3D-touching an app in beta 10 still produces a micro stutter on the last part of the animation. Wtf.

And has been said many times for many years, there is diagnostic code and testing code. DBAD.

The close animation is probably what, a tenth of a second?

iOS 11 runs perfectly smooth on my iPhone 6. Which problems do you see?

2 Glaring problems on my iPhone 6.
#1 Try smart invert and the battery bar disappears.

#2 When I toggle wifi through CC, it disconnects from my Wifi connection and moments later connects to my neighbor's.

According to those that have tested iOS 11 beta 10, the OS seems to still not be polished to a shine. Won't iOS 11 release at the end of the month?
Has any prior iOS release been this buggy so close to release?
To my untrained eye, the leap from iOS 10 to iOS 11 seems not that significant, a few features and an overhauled control-center. Is Apple hiding features that are exclusive to the iPhone Edition/X?
