New battery icon but still outdated! OMG, what is happening with Apple's design team. They sometime nail it perfectly, and sometimes are completely missing it.
Oh that’s a shame. At least we’ve got the new battery icon. Thanks anywaySorry, I misread what you wrote. The icons haven't changed.

No, if you have the option for the 4GB, do that one.
Same here (2 times) and also on a 2018 Mac mini.So 3 times the 4GB option failed on me, so now trying the 12GB option. It's just the full installer instead. This is on 2018 Mac mini. It would act like it's installing the update to beta 3 but then it would still be beta 2 when it loaded and would ask me to download the beta 3 update again. 3 times in a row...
This thing is still hideous. Wow.The battery icon seems to be updated:

Most people will be looking to see if the battery icon has been changed. 😂
This one... https://github.com/iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome
The Chrome version killed Safari every time I opened it, then the Firefox version just didn't do anything
Full installer did not work either, same issue with Mac mini... Just went back into beta 2 and telling me to update to beta 3 again...Same here (2 times) and also on a 2018 Mac mini.
You won't have to wait long.Waiting patiently for the public beta.

It looks as though the symbol is too large and then cropped at the top and bottom because of its size. This might be an error. In the Music app, the "Play" icon is new. Not sure if I'm a fan of it. It is also inconsistent with the Podcasts app which uses the old one.
I hope so.It looks as though the symbol is too large and then cropped at the top and bottom because of its size. This might be an error.
It's already in the release notes...Just hold command + r boot into recovery mode and do a fresh install.

- Your Mac might restart but isn't updated to a newer version of macOS Big Sur 11 Beta. (65298753)
Workaround: Create a bootable installer using the createinstallmedia command.
CMD+R - go into recovery and then go to utilities and security startup disk. Enable boot from removable media. Then restart and hold the Option (Alt) key and choose the bottle USB disk...I tried bootable installer using the createinstallmedia command before but for some reason, It never worked for me because of t2 chip. I always get an error saying need to update and installer stops.
I phoned Apple support team, They tried to help me but couldn't do much and in the end, I had to install Mojave and updated to Catalina.

Oh, well... will have to wait for Parallels update I guess.
Or you could have used startosinstall instead.I tried bootable installer using the createinstallmedia command before but for some reason, It never worked for me because of t2 chip. I always get an error saying need to update and installer stops.
