Apple Seeds Third Beta of macOS Tahoe to Developers

Still nothing in Canada. Something tells me there is a problem with Tahoe B3.

So does everyone. There are parts of Music.app that are still Intel only.
 
Ok. I used Find any File to look for all files containing Rosetta. Let FAF delete them all (system files are not deleted) restarted and lo and behold. The update shows up and installs.

Hoping all the tabs issues are fixed more than anything. Hate not being able to easily tell the active tab, or being unreadable since can't turn off the transparency.

Aaron from MR noted on Twitter they had a rollout issue server side preventing it from showing to Apple Silicon users so may be a little bit before most users can download.

Dark / Light transitions depending on the webpage content. There is a lag-time for visual flair that is offset from the content loading so it looks like flashing when you tab rapidly through different colored webpages.

I think the only solution to this if they want to keep the design as-is is to make it instant and not transition. Marco Arment has also complained about this specific issue so Apple people have definitely heard about it, but until Beta 3 it wasn't present in Tahoe. It actually is faster in iPadOS 26 Beta 3, so maybe they are doing what I suggest.

It's my only real complaint with any of the new UI which is otherwise extremely good.
 
Ah. At least I'm not the only one still watching for it to show to update. Phone, iPad and watch all on beta 3, but not the Mac.

I'm hearing the "glass" got toned way down and back into more "frosted"..

How's it looking to y'all running it?
