Is it just me! After developer 9.3b 3 my battery is horridness had it charging all night and on my way to work noticed it @ 32% life! WOW, it shows under battery that Safari used 42% using AUDIO???

whats so interesting about it? 9.2 was also fine and 9.2.1 started bricking phones
since it's the first beta after the bricking update it's a reasonable question

Garmin activity tracker Bluetooth connectivity fixed (asked several times in the developer beta thread with no response)? This is the only thing keeping me from running the beta, which is frustrating because I'm always in the public beta program and I want to be able to contribute.

Holy crap. My mini 2 is so smooth now. Got to be rivaling or beating 8.4.1 now. I know iBooks is smoother, control center and rotating iBooks has always been a mess and now it's all perfect. Spotlight is perfect, that was bad on iOS 8. App switcher is great, not perfect, but definitely not bad by any means. Control center is even smooth in the app switcher. That annoying jerk when closing the last app in the app switcher is gone. Keyboard animation is better and quicker.

I can't get wifi calling to work on my iPhone 6 but I'm using school wifi right now so that probably doesn't like it, airplane mode wouldn't force wifi calling. I'll try when I get home.

The split keyboard is still junk though, and key tap indicators don't work with increase contrast. App Store, spotlight, and power down screen still chop badly when you rotate them as well as the keyboard but other than that I don't have anymore smoothness complaints. Nothing new to iOS 9 at least, and nothing that isn't being nit-picky.

I'm curious: Does anyone here actually use the 3D Touch quick actions? It's a neat idea but I don't think I've personally actually *used* them once, other than just testing it out. But then I usually launch apps from spotlight or Siri.

Also it seems like after every update Safari content blocker (Purify) does not work initially. Once again I had to disable/enable Purify from settings and after that it works (not even restarting Safari).

It's not the same build!!!

In fact, it is. Dev. build was 13E5200d and today's one is exactly the same.

Runs smooth again on my iP5 like beta 1 did. beta 2 was slow due to that OpenGL thing.

Now on this, i notice the clock delay bug in the notification bar at the top when unlocking the phone.

Still having the springboard each time i open app switcher and scroll to the last few opened apps. Always happens. Noticed it from 9.3 PB 1.

Hmmmm, pity, but as foretold by the developers beta 3, still no scrolling with the Pencil on the iPad Pro.
That is really sadning and annoying.

+1 on the clock, but that doesn't bother me that much, kinda funny :)

And the biggest, most convenient change to me: being able to add songs to a playlist from Apple Music without the need to add it to your iCloud library. No more cluttering my iTunes library with a billion singles.

That has been possible for a while. I'm on 9.0.2 and it already does this. On 8.4 adding to a playlist added the song to my library, or the entire playlist's songs.

its not about giving it a rest, I have an iPhone with broken touch id and want to know if I can use this beta, since beta 2 was ok
Not knowing the answer, I'd hold off on installing this beta until you have a chance to take you iPhone to an authorized repair shop to have the broken Touch ID replaced.

I do. I find the quick action for Bluetooth on the Settings app icon particularly useful.

its like a vicious cycle. I think apple needs to release the major update atleast a year and a half as apposed to the yearly update.

It would be hard for Apple to release new hardware without big software features to go with it. At this point consumers and shareholders are addicted to the annual release cycle for hardware. October is the best (aka most profitable) time to release a new iPhone because it's Apple's way of claiming the iPhone as the best phone to buy during the holidays.

Not just you. My battery life has been horrible since 9.3 beta 1. I noticed the same thing about Safari, earlier today, before installing beta 3. Hoping one of these betas fixes the issue.
And....we're not complaining. We do understand it's a beta.
