With 9.3b2 and now beta 3, I can no longer use the dock connector in my cars which have the USA-spec interface to play music. After ten seconds, it disconnects and is no longer usable. Un plugging and plugging back in re-establishes playback for about 10 seconds. Wish my cars all have Bluetooth. As with 9.3 beta 2 and now with beta 3, I've had to revert back to 9.2.1 to restore function. This on multiple iPhone 6splus devices.

My Garmin Vivosmart HR works again on this third public beta! Yeah!!!
YAAS!! My 920XT is good to go too.

Does it autmatically update carrier settings when installed?
I don't recall there ever being a time when it does that automatically. Even when you update via iTunes, you are still asked if you would like to do the carrier update.

Well, I always check for the update via LTE at work becuase the wifi here blocks the download so I have to wait until I get home to download/install. I just check for it at work and since I'm on LTE the option to download is greyed out. Today, for the first time, the download button was not greyed out but instead was blue and ready to go. Download took less than a minute and the phone is restarting now.
I did too!! Following the exact same steps. It downloaded super quick and installed the software in about 4 minutes. So I'm guessing they changed it.

I experienced Apple Music as really slow after install ended. Took about 10 minutes to get back to normal. Initially New Music said: An error occurred.

This mirrors my experience with a 5s, it reports "this accessory is not compatible with this device" and cuts all audio out and will not charge....( more of a problem for me as I do have Bluetooth function)

just been released.

What is wrong?! The firmware can be updated, so it might get better again. Otherwise the solution is to revert back to 9.2.1... :(

I have the same problem with 9.2.1 after I turned off "Show Apple Music". I can turn it back on but it still stops after a few seconds in the car with cable and then nothing plays on my phone anymore until I reboot my iPhone 6 plus

I reverted back and it still does not work (with the upgraded firmware). I assume this hardware is defective. I will return it today.

My battery is now down 11 percent in just a bit over an hour. Anyone else seeing slightly worse battery life?
31 minutes of use and 2.5 hours of standby, my 6S Plus still shows 100% on the meter. Typical 16 hour day ends with @ 45% battery. Many days higher but this is the average I see.

I have the 6 Plus.
As a last resort, backup and then do a restore via iTunes. It helps sometimes. My 6 Plus I had last year had better battery life than the 6S Plus I have now. I like my newer phone more for the stronger materials but I liked more the previous battery life. Hope you get it sorted because you should have better battery than me. Look too in settings, battery and see what application(s) is showing to be using the most battery. It could be one is "stuck" and needs to be forced closed or reloaded.

I'm seeing much better Bluetooth functionality with my vehicle. Siri commands work again when paired (broken in beta 2), and phone no longer disconnects when I make or receive a call while listening to music. I'm also noticing that the music app is better at saving what I'm listening to after a reboot/reconnect. Previously, it would revert to playing all songs in my library in alphabetical order.

Considering putting this on my iPhone to do some testing. It's on my iPad Air 2 and has been great so far.

Just tried calling a family member's house and got a recording : welcome to Verizon wireless, this number does not accept wifi calls or from other devices'. They have frontier phone, formerly Verizon.

Eh?

Back on 9.2.1 !
So am I now, it's such a pity, the keyboard was much better and more reliable, I really like night shift, but in the end the pencil was just too much annoyance. :(

That is a pity, hope they can replace it so you can keep going.
