The capability is there, but it has to be supported by the carriers as well, and it seems that for at least some of the carriers it's iPhone 6 and later.According to Apple, the 5c and later are supported.

How bout "you" try it and report back. Ok?its not about giving it a rest, I have an iPhone with broken touch id and want to know if I can use this beta, since beta 2 was ok
It should... if it doesn't you can try opening settings and select 'about' - that will usually get a carrier settings update when one is available.Does it autmatically update carrier settings when installed?
I use it for maps when parking my car to mark its location.I'm curious: Does anyone here actually use the 3D Touch quick actions? It's a neat idea but I don't think I've personally actually *used* them once, other than just testing it out. But then I usually launch apps from spotlight or Siri.
does it brick phones with replaced touch id?
Freezes on 6s too hope is fixed next update.Question, does anyone home screen freeze up when closing out apps on the 6 Plus?
because not everyone is a "voice of reason in a community of fanboys and haters" lolWhy do people think this is funny?
Garmin activity tracker Bluetooth connectivity fixed (asked several times in the developer beta thread with no response)? This is the only thing keeping me from running the beta, which is frustrating because I'm always in the public beta program and I want to be able to contribute.
So I tap my writing / sketching tool into a text box. Or up and down a webpage. What, besides moving the cursor, or scrolling, does Apple think I'm doing? Nothing. They know the user's intent and they know how to handle it, but they refuse to because they know better? Arrogant and user-hostile to the point of stupidity. That's because the Pencil isn't a stylus, its a writing/sketching tool.
What Verizon thinks/wants isn't necessarily the same as what Verizon users think/want. And even if the network is "superior" or at least better in various respects, it doesn't mean it's perfect or can't be even better. Not sure why so many Verizon users are concerned about wifi calling. Verizon's network is superior. Hahahagaggagahhahaa!
Just kidding (a little). Should have seen that coming.
Just out of curiosity, was the Pencil ever advertised or referenced by Apple as having stylus capabilities? So I tap my writing / sketching tool into a text box. Or up and down a webpage. It had the ability when I was making my decision in the store, and it had it until 9.3. Now I'm trying to figure out the best path back to 9.2Just out of curiosity, was the Pencil ever advertised or referenced by Apple as having stylus capabilities?
You can restore and that would put iOS 9.2.1 back.It had the ability when I was making my decision in the store, and it had it until 9.3. Now I'm trying to figure out the best path back to 9.2
I was ripping on Verizon. Not its customers. Verizon thinks they are superior. All carriers have their weaknesses and strengths. Except Sprint. They just plain suck. Not kidding. Sorry, Sprint customers. Wait...Sprint customers won't see this. They would have to have service. What Verizon thinks/wants isn't necessarily the same as what Verizon users think/want. I was right on the edge as to whether I should or shouldn't buy this thing after I got it I thought it was so insanely useful - and fun to use.You can restore and that would put iOS 9.2.1 back.
As for the Pencil, I understand the functionality was there, I'm wondering if it was intentional (and thus advertised/referenced officially) or perhaps not, for whatever reason.
Edit: Saw you have the HR. What issues were you having with the first two betas? My Garmin Vivosmart HR works again on this third public beta! Yeah!!!

What if you tried it to see? You can go back to 9.2.1 if it doesn't and you have to have it. I have see a few posts about Garmin devices now working so perhaps its fine now. Just a thought.Garmin activity tracker Bluetooth connectivity fixed (asked several times in the developer beta thread with no response)? strangely, I found 9.2.1 to be more stable than 9.2.0
a positive update
