Weird. I'm having Bluetooth issues with my trackpad only (keyboard works fine) on my iMac and 10.10.4 beta worked for 6 days for me before he issue returned. What the hell is going on with apple and this issue?

disconnects / reconnects and very erratic juddering and jumping of the cursor and dropouts by any chance?

Hoping 10.10.4 finally fixes some issues. I'm still suffering from bluetooth jitter, mainly with my magic mouse, sometimes my Keyboard acts up as well. Had it disconnect and lock up the other night and was fixed with a reboot. New glitch for me.

If you wire the laptop to the network and disable the Wi-Fi, does these issues go away?

gMux is not the graphics driver. It's the hardware that's responsible for switching between integrated and discreet graphics. Hence the mux.

Drivers in OS X are extensions. Check the extensions section in System Profiler. Nvidia extensions are prefixed with NV. Intel graphics extensions are prefixed with Intel. Hope this helps.

Thanks for this :)

I forget which version it was, but I did have the bizarre wifi "renaming" thing going on at one time. All is well now. Are there issues with wifi besides that?

Any feedback on Bluetooth trackpad issues would be appreciated. Widespread problems with 10.10.3

What problems are you having? I have been using my Wireless Trackpad with my Mac Pro since the 10.10.3 Public Beta (currently on the 10.10.4 Public Beta) and have not had any problems with it.

U reckon by the time we hit 10.10.8 we will have Mail purring again like a kitten ?

I reckon that there will never be a 10.10.8.

Gittery cursor, disconnects, lag, inaccuracy, dropouts and total failure to work.

Keyboard went nuts once, USB mouse fine and trackpad fine on my other Mac.

Ultra annoying as iMac is main machine I use and I love my trackpad.

I haven't tried, as I don't have the ethernet ability where I am. Works fine well over 90% of the time as is, but still hoping these things do get resolved with future up dates though. :)

Hopefully it deletes Photos and brings back iPhoto

I really dislike Photos, to the point that the main house iMac that houses all our pictures will remain on 10.10.2 until I can figure out how to install 10.10.3 without it converting our libraries.

And my mother had this to say about it when she updated 2 weeks ago:

"Everything is okay, but….what the %$^&@ is up with iPhoto? I still have all my pictures but none of my labeling etc. They just say a date like July 2014 and
show all the pictures from that month. No names or descriptions of who was visiting or where I was. Not happy!!!!"

Mail has problems accessing Gmail accounts

The latest Mac Mail app seems to have problems accessing Gmail accounts. I even deleted my gmail accounts and tried to set them up again, but accessing mail through through Mac Mail is a no go. This is a bit of a showstopper for me.

I had the same issue, checking 'automatically detect and maintain account settings' in Accounts > Advanced solved the problem for me.

It's about time Apple released a Yosemite update, said nobody ever.

But seriously, good on Apple for their ruthlessness in fixing bugs!

Hi there,

Is anybody able to access some websites with Safari 8.0.7? For example, I cannot access trello.com anymore. Once I type my username and password in, I am redirected back to the login screen.

This doesn't happen when using Chromium.

Apart from this, I haven't noticed any outstanding differences so far.

Sams issue unfortunately, some days it's fine - somedays it's not.

same here, noticed it only a week ago with extremely lagged bluetooth mouse and trackpad performance to the point of no movement and then disconnection with the iMac and then an automatic reconnect.

Really disappointing as I can't get any work done with my top spec 5k iMac.

Before 10.10.3, the bluetooth devices worked fine but i had random reboots whilst it was sleeping "because of a graphics issue"

finally they fixed it in 10.10.3 but now I get random reboots with a sleep wake failure associated with bluetooth (according to the crash lag) which I'm thinking is releated to the above mentioned issue

The reason I asked is that I experienced these same issues and was able to narrow it to the Wi-Fi+bluetooth combination. When I wired my laptop or iMac, I didn't experience any issues with bluetooth.

I gave up on waiting for Apple to fix these, so I've switched my stuff to USB wired devices and using no bluetooth devices.

It's sad and I'm starting to thinking of switching to Windows 10 when it comes out unless 10.11 magically fixes everything.

Is your iMac wired or using Wi-Fi network? If Wi-Fi, switch to the Ethernet cable, see if these issues are "magically" gone.

No issues with Trello in Safari here.

With this update everything seems to be running a lot smoother. Safari seems snappier, photos is definitely snappier and seems to upload/download content form the cloud quicker, and there is no longer lag moving between full screen apps!

Numbers won't share via mail

Anyone else having the issue where Numbers won't share a document via mail.

Choose that as a share option and nothing happens.

Can other check. I have it on two macs running 10.10.4.

Update - Never mind. I was opening the old numbers. Doesn't work there. Works in the new Numbers.

Thanks
