RC3 ? Why not stay in Beta if it's not ready?
So if this is the true final RC, hopefully the final release will be available tomorrow or Monday (or Tuesday...).

If they fix fingerprint reader slowness and constant Safari crashing, that would be more than enough!

Why do these RC's need to be 3GB in size if they are just last minute bug fixes on the previous RC? Why did they even call them RC's to begin with? We're all basically running beta software anyways as there's always some kind of major bug in all of their final releases.

Wishful thinking on their part and they hoped you would really love it. :)

If you find a bug in one line of code in one system file then you often have to fix several other files. Hence they are called ‘dependencies’. Fix a graphics driver? Then you also have to update a bunch of other things. Fix a sound bug? Then update frameworks and firmware and probably some apps too. Etc.

Can anybody using this go into the messages app on the Mac and tell me the version and build number. Hoping it goes up from 14.0 and 6000 found in 11.1

This OS release is not good, Big Sur has cause nothing but issues for us at our workplace, networking with Windows machines is nonexistent we have had to roll several back to Catalina. Releasing a major operating system update without functioning networking to other computers is unacceptable. We have two brand new Mac minis from the factory that will not connect via SMB to any machine on the network. I really hope Apple fixed this issue but it’s been like that since day one so I’m not hopeful.

Release candidate 1. No, this is the Release Candidate, honestly. No, wait, it’s this one, really. Oh bu**er, no, it’s this one, forget about the last one.

Is it still a piece of junk? I bet it's still a piece of junk. Oh well maybe next year eh?

Edit: People who disagree, do you also disagree with people who have a cold when you yourself don't have a cold?
Edit 2: Yes, it's still a piece of junk, I just tested it.
