Apple Seeks Ban on Sales of Revised Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1N in Germany

Features out of the box? Remember, you are not the one designing these things. There are millions who have purchased an iPod and truly understand what they were(are) buying. I don't really wish to deal with batteries otherwise I'd be running my old HTC Mozart 7.
As for the codec, I would have appreciated if Apple provided support for Ogg Vorbis but I can easily use ALAC and that is one of the best codecs out there.
But yeah, keep beating that.
THIS. It already started with the "4S" (hey see how many 4 we sell, why bother with a new phone if we can milk the 4 another generation) at some point they'll be just another nokia, bberry, myspace
It's not a requirement. When I feel they've done something to merit it, I'll do it.

apple will see what it brings them here in germany. Even more ppl jumping to samsung. We germans dont like to be told what we can or cant have and therefore tend to move to another company just out of principal ^^
its slowly coming to the point here that i feel embarrassed to take out my iphone bc i get stupid jokes from every side like "hey whats the latest lawsuit battle" "omg do u think apple will sue me for eating that apple"

Did you post ny threads about the widespread battery issue? What about the entire antenna gate thing last year? Or iPhone 4S combusting. If your on top of bashing other companies, I'm sure you've heard about Apple's screwups. What about the iPod nano on fire. You never mention those, or be the first to ake a thread about it. Why? Because you refuse to see it because its a negative thing?
Yes, I'm sure German consumers will stop buying hot tech items that are in crazy demand everywhere else out of principle.
Germany is of course the miraculous exception to consumer consciousness.

I can see why Apple my have their knickers in a twist over the appearance of the Tab.
However most of the tech world is the one bitching, the average consumer on the street if you walked up to them and said "Hi, if you were going to be a tablet what would it be" I would say at least 75% would say an ipad as that is what is advertised that is what people use in TV shows.
And to be honest if you look at the home screens of both devices fresh out of the box, they do not look the same in any way shape or form. The pics apple showed, do not in my opinion count as you have to press a button to see the Apps, and to be honest you can not arrange icons in any other way other than in rows and columns, and I do not think that is an Apple patent or I would assume Microsoft would slap them for it or some other junk.
And yes I have a galaxy tab 10.1, and I like it apart from the stupid newtoian rings under the screen, but I bought that as android suits me better, I find there are better apps for what I do on Android.
But then I also have a mac book pro and a works iphone

They need to be taught a lesson. Germany is a good place to start since that is where they got the ban against Samsung. Maybe Australia next. It's a matter of principle.
not within a few months duh but it certainly seems to move that way. This demand crap i only here on apple boards, sales arent everything. They can drop faster than u can look but anyway this whole argument has nothin to do with the topic and is pointless to talk about on a apple site. You're projecting your own attitudes onto the wider market.
Maybe it might be a good idea to start reading that "numbers crap", since there's a lot more to the market than your five feet of personal space and the 10 or so miles of your daily commute.

Apple doesn't own colors and shapes, sorry. This is a frivolous lawsuit.
..seriously this is like one maker of dinner plates suing another over the shape of the plate.
I sometimes wonder WHY Apple is after Samsung because there are several other manufacturers that look similar to the iPad they aren't going sued.

LOL Great plan. You do know Germany belong to the WTO. It can't just ban products like that. How would Germany like if the US banned imports of their cars in response?
The same sort of patent bickering goes on between car companies, unfortunately Apple is not involved there so it doesn't get reported in the popular media.
Look how BMW (a German company as you know) was suing an US amusement park because their roller coaster had cars that looked like Minis:
