I'm interested in everything in this event except maybe Watch straps. Actually even the rumoured NATO straps could give the Watch an nice new aesthetic, so I'm still somewhat intrigued by that update.

This is probably the first Apple event since 2013 that I've actually been genuinely excited about. Although I'll admit the Retina Macbook was a delightful out-of-the-blue surprise.

Notice the colors on the invitation. Space Gray, Silver, Gold, Rose Gold and possibly the new color "Champagne"?

Will it be streamed? On keynote days, our whole office orders food in and watches together.

Every time I wanna watch it live streaming in my iPad 3 I cant it says some or other problem what do I do to watch it live streaming this time on iPad 3 ! What do I ensure ?

Everyone else took a guess at what 'Let Us Loop You In' means in this event so I'll give it a shot too.

Loop is a play on the word loupe, which is used to examine diamonds. Could Apple be about to announce a diamond studded watch for the near future?

Ok not likely, but I do love the play on words if that is the case.

Nice! I invite friends over, they bring some greens and I order 6x double cheeseburgers and fries at Mc's for each one of us. :)

I get to do an "employee purchase" through my university where they take the payment out of your paycheck over two years. You pay no interest or tax, but do pay $100 to set it up. You can get a desktop and a laptop if you want.

I'm due for a new purchase in the next few months, and to be honest, I can't find anything that I want. I don't know if that means that Apple's previous products are so good that after 2 years there is no compelling reason to upgrade anything, or if it means that in two years their products are so stagnant that I can't find an excuse to blow a few thousand dollars.

I miss the days when they came out with something and I lusted after it and just couldn't wait to have it.

You pay $100 above retail for the privilege? I'm confused as to how that's a real benefit to anyone but your employer :/

can we please have proper colour options like black and blue for iphones and ipads?
I would not hold my breath for that, you can clearly see on the invitations ,the four colors Rose Gold, Gold,Sliver and Space Gray Plus they usually introduce a new model every two years or "S" model. the 5s Gold, the 6s Rose Gold ,the 7s maybe black or blue. What I hope for are black fronts, maybe next year that would be a joy.

Could be a curved screen that goes around you. To use it, you have to sit in a chair that spins like your boss sits in.

The four iPhone colors are in the image. That should squash any rumors about bright pink or other colors on the SE.

I also take the "loop you in" tagline to mean we'll have a new Milanese Loop watch band.
I also see orange, I think. Or is that supposed to be gold? Grasping at straws here. I would love soem color.

The original gold colour is champagne right? They just didn't call it that officially.
[doublepost=1457679915][/doublepost]A MacBook that actually has decent specs would be nice. I love the design of that thing and I don't really need the specs of my MacBook Pro anymore. Would be nice to have something smaller and more light weight without really sacrificing too many specs.

I agree.
But the colors in the logo could mean that rose gold is coming to thew new iPad as well, and who knows, maybe on a new Macbook.

As for the Watch I'm waiting for version 2, and I don't expect it to be announced this month so I don't really care about new kind of bands or a brand new milanese loop.
By the way loop you in is a really nice tagline. You have the milanese loop and the event will take place at infinite loop. With the new campus on the way this will be one of the last events to be hosted there

Loop, like clouds that look like a loop in the sky... that means Skylake MBP are coming!

In all honesty, back in the late 90's/early 2000 it was much more exciting. You had a new design every 2 years. Just remember how the G3 power Macs turned into the cheese grater ones. The currently unibody macbooks are more or less the same since 8 years or so.

Maybe they reached maximum improvements on every product...

Maybe also the editions will go and be replaced with gold and rose gold *coloured* SS Apple watches. With matching Milanese loops.

And there are lots of rumours now.
We know about the new iPhone, we know about a new iPad and Watch bands. Back in September we knew about the force touch and Apple TV wasn't really a surprise.
It is always interesting to watch the live streamings, but at the end of them I wouldn't say I feel disappointed, but I miss the wow effect.
Last time I was really excited after a keynote from Apple it was 2014 WWDC with Swift, since there was a lot of stuff for developers and I didn't see them coming.
