It will only be thicker, have antenna glass cutouts. But the sticky out cam will be in there. And perhaps the same speakers. But it will never be as thin. Sorry, won't happen...

Wrong, they stuffed the guts into the latest iPod touch case. We will get it in a week and a half. No one is going to buy a junky upgraded 5S.

I might end up with three of the products announced. The phone (for sure) the smaller iPad Pro (maybe) and a new MBP (for sure).

Then I don't have to read any waiting for... threads for another 3-4 years.

You pay $100 above retail for the privilege? I'm confused as to how that's a real benefit to anyone but your employer :/

Actually, it's $100 over educational prices for which I get a zero percent interest loan for 24 months. I pay no tax and can use that money during those two years to invest, etc. It's a lot better than pulling money out of a stock to pay with cash up front.

Ok, but then it' s gonna have the ugly lines of the iPhone 6.
Newsflash: iPhones 5/5s and 6/6s are all ugly design compromises.

When people complained about the iPhone 4 and that aesthetic was more important to Apple's design than functionality, they were right. Unfortunately priorities have changed after Antennagate. Now antennas must have signal strength instead of just looking good.

Newsflash!
Not everyone agrees with you.
It is your subjective opinion.

When you say you pay no tax... No sales tax or its deducted from salary before tax and so that bit isn't taxable?

I guess either way it's a benefit. Putting "educational purchase" in quotes confused me into thinking it wasn't an educational purchase.

I still look forward to the Apple Keynotes, I don't need to be "blown" away every time. Even with just minor spec updates, and new watch bands, it's still a million times better then anything Windows or Samsung have to offer.

I'm not a Windows or Samsung fan, but what you said is far from the truth.
