This invitation has nothing in it - intentionally - just like the this event has nothing interesting to show. Its just tiny updates to the air to get it up to speed with the iPad Pro and a phone with less stuff in it than the current. I dont see why this gets people even interested, or that Apple has an event for it at all for that matter. If any other company would have an event and show a smaller version of their current phones and a minor tablet upgrade to one of the sizes, it wouldnt even get a news headline.

Isn't it obvious? This is a website dedicated to rumours/news for one particular company. That company then announces they have an event - you don't think people here might be interested?

The fact that it works differently with Apple pretty much speaks for itself.

Well new bands for the Apple Watch will obviously be a massive benefit to end users, as the existing bands haven't been updated in AGES ;)

End users of the Apple Watch are really suffering due to this lack of updates.

Whereas the Mac Pro and Macbook Pro are completely up to date in terms of CPU, GPU and storage. Those products are ALWAYS being updated on a regular basis.;)

All we need is a 4 inch iPhone looks like the new iPod touch!

Thats all
The latest iPod Touch is 0.24" thick and weighs 3.1 oz (the iPhone 6s is 0.28" thick and weighs 5.0 oz).

If Apple can come close to the physical specifications of the iPod Touch with the performance specifications of the iPhone 6s, it will be an impressive device indeed.

I think we may be in for a few surprises at this event, iPads, iPhones (low end), Watch bands and iOS 9.3 will all be highlighted of course.

Craig said in a recent interview about a big update coming to iTunes, I wonder if that will get some screen time..

Software has understandably fewer leaks, so you could be right. This could be the event when iTunes is overhauled and peoples criticisms fixed.

I also see orange, I think. Or is that supposed to be gold? Grasping at straws here. I would love soem color.

Yeah?

I see blue and black.

You must be in the UK where it's dinner time. Unfortunately it's 3AM here in Australia when they stream.

Whether by design or accident, the former penal colonies do not have a convenient time for watching the keynote.

It's better to be in England.

Fingers crossed for this.

I think there is a chance we could see a couple of Mac updates at the event, the last time Apple held an event at their campus it was in October 2014 where they talked a little about Apple Watch, OSX and announced Mac updates including the 5K iMac and the iPad Air 2, the event ran for about 70 minutes and is one of the shortest Apple events. So i think if Apple are going to announce the new iPhone SE and iPad Pro mini or whatever there calling it, they could also throw in a couple of Mac updates.

Haha tell me about it. Looking for the new 15" rMBP for a long time. Not really hoping to watch a keynote on watch bands. That would be jumping the shark.

We're already looped in, hard to escape that Apple ecosystem.
It's getting easier. My brother just left and it was pretty painless. The only thing I really have a hard time replacing is iPhoto and ...Apple now got rid of that so its not hard at all. Now if the phone did not work with windows that would be a big deal.

If topics don't interest you its best to just move along...it's easy to do.

Unless there are new MBP's with discreet Nvidia GPU's I am gonna be switching to Windows after being a dedicated mac user since 1989. To call their laptops 'Pro' is asinine when the majority use crappy Intel GFX and the one exception uses obsolete AMD GPU's, for $2.5k. I can buy a Razor that eats this for breakfast, for less money.

Also, my sole prediction will be additional Beats radios stations, namely Beats 2 and 3.

The smaller Ipad Pro is tempting but last year I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and its more than still filling the need I use it for especially that amoled screen for media consumption there is nothing better, I will revisit the ipad when and if they improve the screen

This isn't 2012.

The Iris Pro 580 looks like it will even keep up or even surpass a 950M. The Iris 550(Which is going to be for the 13" rMBP for cry'in out loud) is already keeping up with the 940M based on the benchmarks a member here posted.
