SE2..

Pretty please, Mr. Cook.

I share your thoughts, but I think the reality is, the iPhone SE won’t be updated this year. I think Apple will retain the current SE for another year, which is still performs efficiently on iOS 11. And my opinion, all the SE really needs is an updated resolution, camera upgrades in a slightly tweaked form factor while retaining the 4 inch display/form factor.

If it's more emojis, I will be looking for the door. Siri is a joke, half their computer line either hasn't been updated for years or barely gets a bump worthy the name. Most of their accessory hardware is now discontinued (with the exception of dongles of course). I could go on. But time for Apple to pull a rabbit out of the hat to prove they are still in the innovation game.

Apple has thrown in with AR technology, but haven't brought anything to the table themselves in terms of interface or apps; just hoping developers will fill the gap. Such a wasted opportunity. Apple has thrown in with the home automation scene but only offering an API kit. There is SOOOO much potential for them to doing something innovative with hardware again or software. But all they do is let any technology they develop stagnate once invented and push out more emoji.

I'm a little confused. Are you saying that you'll leave if Apple adds more emoji's regardless of other iOS updates? Or are you saying that you'll leave if Apple ONLY adds emoji's and doesn't do anything else? Because I highly doubt Apple would do the latter. In fact, I would wager that whether Apple adds emoji's is 100% irrelevant to any other features included in iOS 12. Like to the point of them being on completely different teams that have no bearing on each other what-so-ever. But if you hate emoji's so much that having to look at new ones repels you, then you can always go back to a flip phone. Because I hate to break it to you, but even Android gets new emojis

I think we’ve had maybe three mentions of new iPad Pros? And not one claiming they’ll be launched at WWDC.
Yet we have had several SE rumours and the majority have pointed to WWDC, we will see but I won’t be shocked in the slightest to see it launched there.

When it comes to the SE this sites not been very accurate making assumptions and opinions with out any rumours, like it won’t have Fave ID, despite several rumours claiming otherwise...

There have actually been several rumors suggesting an iPad Pro debut at WWDC.

https://www.macrumors.com/2018/03/07/ipad-pro-face-id-wwdc-june-release-date-rumor/

But, as a caveat, there have also been rumors for September. Same goes for the iPhone SE. Rumors have said WWDC, but a lot of those rumors are on the sketchier side. A lot of the earlier iPhone SE rumors said something broad like the first half of 2018 rather than WWDC specifically.

The most recent iPhone SE rumor, which is almost certainly wrong if an iPhone SE is coming in 2018, said the design hasn't been nailed down and that it's not coming at WWDC.

Well Apple don’t hold events these days other then WWDC or in September as that’s in the second half of the year..
And who is a reliable leaker? Evanblasts or whatever his name is even posted renders of an SE with an X design, and its name of iPhone SE 2018 indicating a launch this year, so if the majority of rumours are WWDC or first half of 2018....
KGI are no longer reliable as they lost their key leaker.

Not looking forward to a round watch. The rectangular case was chosen for a reason. It is the ideal design choice. Every implementation of a traditional circular case ends up looking cheap even on the higher end of smart watches: calling out Tag Heuer.

It’s actually the Apple product I use the least. I really bought it just out of curiosity but it gets very little use unless I’m running or doing exercise.

Those with a reliable track record. I'm in no way saying there's not going to be an iPhone SE at WWDC -- it could certainly happen. Rumors have just been all over the place, so there's no way to say for sure at this point.

My body is ready. :D

But in all seriousness, Apple really needs to perform at this keynote and get iOS working like it used to without so many bugs.

I am reading A lot of comments about those _expecting_ hardware during WWDC, and I think the general reminder is that WWDC is not about hardware, it’s about the developers, iOS ,macOS and watchOS. I think Apples focus should be to better the experience for the user through various platforms. Anything that we receive for hardware is merely a bonus and not guarantee.

4K iTunes and Netflix Mac streaming, here we come!

...along with hex-core iMacs, hex-core 15" MacBook Pros, quad-core 13" MacBook Pros, and maybe even a dual-core Intel or multi-core Apple A11/A12 13" MacBook.
At least someone's expectations are high. I guess I'm just so used to Apple neglecting the Mac that this big of a refresh doesn't even seem plausible to me.

If we do get two more cores across the iMac and MacBook Pro lines, it will be exciting times indeed; though more thanks to Intel than Apple.
I'm convinced the hex-core iMacs, hex-core 15" MBPs, and quad-core 13" MBPs are coming. I'd be happy enough with silent updates, but these are big enough updates to warrant announcements at the keynote. Furthermore, the timing works because the appropriate chips have been out in volume for months, and it's one year after they were announced last year at WWDC 2017. By the way, I'm predicting fewer new Macs at WWDC 2018 than there were at WWDC 2017, so I'm not sure why you think it's so implausible.

I'm also pretty sure about the 4K streaming... or at least very hopeful. However, such DRM'd 4K HDR streaming would only come to 7th gen Intel Macs or later. This means all the 2017 Macs except for the 5th gen Broadwell MacBook Air... which for all we know could get discontinued soon, maybe to be replaced by that rumoured new 13" MacBook sometime later this year, and not actually at WWDC 2018.

DigiTimes: Apple to defer new MacBook Air production to 2H18

The sources said that Apple has informed supply chain partners that mass production of its new notebook model for 2018 will not kick off until the second half of the year, yet without explaining the rescheduling move. Some partners speculated that the postponement might be caused by problems with some key components such as processors.

Not sure why people keep saying this. See my above post about WWDC 2017. No guarantees of course, but Apple often makes significant hardware announcements at WWDC.

how come this event is not at the new mothership?
I suspect because "the event" isn't just product announcements but the opening to a multi-day expo/training for developers. The mothership isn't set up to do that. It is first and foremost a work space for Apple employees. Doesn't make sense to have the keynote off-site at the Steve Jobs theater and then truck everyone to the convention center for the rest of the conference.

I wonder if they'll demo any ARM-based Macs? I know they said they'd transition in 2020, but Apple didn't transition to Intel all at once. I'm just curious to see what they have in mind in terms of ARM-based Macs.

Also, I kind of wish they had reduced priced tickets for people who just want to go to the keynote. Some people might not want to, or are unable to, go to the rest of the convention. I've been to other conventions that have 11,000+ people for the keynote, and that's in cities across the nation.

I think before we see that we'll need to see a true cross-platform development tool which was rumored but also rumored to be delayed to 2019.

That’s not what I indicated at all. *Announcing* products and expecting products to launch during WWDC are two different things, which are not mutually exclusive. Many are _expecting_ an updated iPhone SE two, iPad, MacBook, etc, to release, which none of those are guaranteed. Regardless, it’s about the developers and it always has been. Again, if there is hardware that does launch during the keynote, that’s merely an add on, as in comparison to the Fall Keynote, where we can be [guaranteed] and expect new hardware to release, such as an Apple Watch, iPhone, AirPods, etc.

Here is my post again, since you misconstrued it:
