I do love this form of a bribery/sweetener. Perhaps our politicians can use this method of gifting desirable hardware to get the tune they want out of a person instead of trading brown envelopes stuffed with cash?

Pelosi has $350 million, so the amount of briberies is insane (on top her insider trading activities). Most politicians are rich as hell on a lousy government salary.

Politicians would go back to sleep if they receive this type of bribery from Apple.

And it comes with condensation feature, lovely :)

Desperately need an update? May I ask why?

To my ear, best in class sound quality, equal in class noise cancelling, and way out in front transparency, best build quality. I recently bought Sony WH 1000 XM5 for traveling, and to my ear, the AirPods are better for everything other than maybe noise canceling but it’s almost impossible to pick one that’s better.

Edit: I will say desperately in need of being shipped with a usable case. I don’t use mine outside of the house because of that terrible case.

I actually agree with this. I watch Zollotech because he is very detailed in his reviews, but how does he have all that money to buy every single apple product. What is his source of income? Is it Youtube subscriptions (And people donating to him) or something else. It seems to me like what Apple is doing is bribing these creators for good reviews, and we already saw Brownlee get mentioned in a previous event. I think they need to disclose how they got these products and if they were gifted anything by Apple to make good reviews. I would appreciate the authenticity and transparancy.

Yes, I do have a little issue with Apple gifting products to "influencers" for good reviews. That makes trusting those reviews seem a little more difficult.
Apple is well known to blacklist people who don’t give them favorable press.

Apple sends out gift boxes to people who can afford to get the products in the gift boxes so they continue to tell everyone on YouTube what they want people to hear. Fixed it for you.

I do wonder if those AirPods Max have usb c?
Yup. I came here to make this comment.

For Halloween we were also gifted lots of scary bugs in Sonoma 14.1.
Now THAT's funny!

Ah, rich people getting a $450 headphones + gifts for free while the rest of us have to pay for it. Nothing more worthless than the job title of “influencer”.

Here are examples, although I suspect something else is going on with your reply....

I would like them to provide the owners with a replacement headband to purchase instead of doling out freebies.

In the first case with Computer Bild testing what it took to bend an iPhone, I can understand why Apple would stop providing test hardware at that point. I assume it was not a loaner iPhone they bent, but I could still see it being an issue to send test hardware to a group when you know one of their tests is to try to break it. It reminds me of the test drive near the beginning of the movie “Used Cars”. 😀

Did apple blacklist, stop talking to Computer BILD completely, and not invite them to events, which is the accusation, or did they as you suggested just stop sending them review units to get mangled?

What we do know for sure is publishing an article on an unreleased iPhone that was found in a bar will get you blacklisted.

Influencers makes me want to do the opposite. They’re worse than humans that sells their body for money and mask it as selling love.

sex workers provide a service that is clearly in demand.

how exactly do you think business transactions work? apple doesn’t give you a hug and a kiss for buying their product, why should a sex worker need to ACTUALLY love you?
