I'm sorry, but these ads are adorable and much more relatable than their "more powerful than you think" ads (Maybe 1% of 1% used their devices for that). I think their use of the Cookie monster and Siri wasn't not too in your face. I think a good ads requires a few seconds before you realize what's being marketed.

The behind the scenes look was a nice tough. I chuckled at the "done now?" "Now?" "Now?"

do people seriously believe this is real

What? Are you serious?

Now I know what the Apple logo would look like without the bite taken it. At first viewing it almost didn't look symmetrical since we're so used to it with the bite taken out. I had to re-watch the end several times to believe that it was symmetrical.

It doesn't look symmetrical to me, but I'm sure it is. I've always wondered what it would look like whole, it looks...odd.

it's actually not perfectly symmetrical (i just double checked in photoshop and it's very close, but the concave dip at the top is slightly to the left of the dip at the bottom). it's also not based strictly to the golden ratio either, as many people think. they did a lot of fudging to trick the eye into thinking these things, because sometimes strict adherence looks funny. interesting read here: http://www.businessinsider.com/apples-logo-not-based-on-golden-ratio-2013-9?op=1

do people seriously believe this is real

That's a really really really weird question.
Like, why would anyone think it was real??
More importantly... what made YOU think that people thought it was real??
Not a single post on here is like: "wow, those are some amazing candid shots they got of cookie chilling at his house, yo!"
Yours is the ONLY post that posits such an insane conclusion.

Yeah for sure. I thought about taking a screenshot and double checking but I'm at work and a bit swamped. And it makes perfect sense that it's slightly off to make it seem more natural. I work in design so I am (supposed to be) familiar with all of the fun things that we have to do to make the human eye feel comfortable. Also what makes being a typographer such a hard task.

Interestingly enough, when we were watching TV and this commercial came on, it activated hey siri on my wife's 6S and started a 14 minute timer. I thought it was only supposed to turn on with her voice? She sounds absolutely nothing even close to Cookie Monster.

Dude, this is a fake behind the scenes but still funny. I know people that have worked with CTW and associated projects with Muppets on stage in production. When there are no children around, a lot of the stuff that happens between takes would never make a family safe program. I'll leave it at that.

good typography drives me batty. i try, but always show it to a perfectionist friend who SOMEHOW makes it slightly better. i swear it's like that Is it a Duck or is it an Old Lady illusions somehow.

Last month, Apple shared a charming iPhone 6s ad starring well-known Sesame Street character Cookie Monster, who used the iPhone 6s and the always-on "Hey Siri" feature as a cookie-baking aid.

The spot, which garnered more than 8 million views on YouTube, is one of the most popular ads in Apple's recent history, which is likely why the company today released a followup "Behind the Scenes" video depicting a humorous second look at Cookie Monster as he shoots the ad.

In the ad, we see some before and after shots, showing more footage of Cookie Monster waiting for his cookies. Cookie Monster asks over and over again when his cookies will be ready, and has a cute conversation with Siri where he offers her a cookie when they're done. The video continues on with the ding of the oven and Cookie Monster's excitement over the finished cookies, ending with Siri wishing Cookie Monster good night.

The two ads starring Cookie Monster are two in a series of iPhone 6s ads that have starred various well-known celebrities using different iPhone 6s features. Previous ads have focused on everything from Live Photos to 3D Touch and have starred Jamie Foxx, Bill Hader, Jon Favreau, and Stephen Curry.

Great ad for Siri and iPhone. Was watching it on my iPhone and when Cookie Monster said, "Hey Siri," my Siri answered. Funny too when I asked Siri to dial hair salon and she replied that I didn't need a haircut.

Perhaps I'm easily pleased, but I thought this behind the scenes was quite charming.

Hilarious video, and good to see what Cookie Monster was getting up to whilst resting from the first ad.

I love typography and feel like I understand the theory behind it, but there's at least one time a month where I'm convinced it's a global conspiracy.

Funny for kids I guess. I don't think it would go down so well in the UK. Americans seem to have a cookie obsession. Here in the UK we have biscuits which actually have variety.
