Yea, I also doubt it is a "how to" video. In the how to videos I have seen they never needed that kind of equipment. They needed a HD handy cam and a guy to talk in front of a white sheet.
Like I said... Sources have confirmed that they are making a 3G iPhone commercial.
It's based on the dream sequence in the Big Lebowski.
Instead of bowling pins on their heads... Imagine iPhones.
So it is a commercial for sure. But for what?

idk id this has already been stated, but isnt apple supposed to have a HUGE back to school sale starting june 3rd, which is like 4 days away. Coincidently its also a tuesday. Now if apple were to shoot a promo video, or do some in store signs, etc, they wouldnt do it on the weekend, friday and saturday are too busy. Sunday/Monday is probably cutting it close. So tonight seems like the most logical night.
Also in terms of what they're shooting, all the guided tours have been inside, with a black background. The only outdoor commericals have been those "real" people talking about the phones.
im hoping its 3g, b/c my used iphone expires on ebay in 8 hours![]()
I'm not sure that the handy cam and guy in front of a white sheet fall into Apple's usual production values.
The 3G iPhone is going to be HUGE. If this shoot has something to do with the new iPhone, I have a feeling that Apple is going to pull out all the stops production-wise, don't you?
My logic is why would you spend so much money to film something that will be seen once at a conference?
I've worked on a few conference videos where the graphics budget alone was in the tens of thousands. And I'm talking things that will definitely never be seen again. Not even on my reel unfortunately.
I walk from SoHo back home to 79th and York often. It's about an hour walk, though I do walk quickly.
...the most user-friendly, efficient, and ergonomically designed place in existence.![]()
that is 6.9 miles according to map quest..... i doubt you walk that kind of speed in 1 hoour....... look at th logistics.... it just doesn't work.....
me too! i dressed up as a janitor![]()
It's not a Mac/PC commercial... that white background is signature...
What if its for an unannounced product? Like the iTablet...![]()
