Here is a screenshot of the file info:

Does this help?

The size, version number, and date is exactly the same as the old GM build. Interestingly though is that the time is an hour later on the new build (shows 6:39 for the old build).

Edit: Btw could you also find out the geforce driver version as well? Thanks!

Because I had earlier pointed out that all news about the new build came from German-speaking sources, not English-speaking sources. Then another forum member mentioned that it was too early for the news to be reflected in the USA, as it was still too early on that side of the Atlantic. My point is that there are a couple of islands on this side of the Atlantic with countries where they speak English, such as England, a country which is quite close (geographically speaking) to Germany!

Oh I see. Thanks much for the clarification. :)

Ok thanks for the info. It is exactly the same version as the "GM 1" that is 8.18.26.

I asked just because some progams such as photoshop or pixelmator are having some kernel panics and from the look of the crash logs, it seems that the gpu drivers are to blame.

Thanks for the info man!

Any changes with this build?

The only thing I have seen so far is that the help files are now available. In the previous GM seed the help files were partly there. Apart from that I haven't seen anything so far.
Somehow I get the feeling that this release is much more stable than the previous seed, but I cannot base this feeling on facts. I guess we will just have to wait.

Does this new build fix the constant full syncing of iCloud or Outlook.com, or indeed any other IMAP account, every time you load Mail.app?

You can verify this by using Activity Window. This problem has made IMAP on Mavericks Mail.app abominably slow...
I only have a small amount of mail in my iCloud account, but with an Exchange account and a Gmail IMAP account, Mail seems to start up quickly, sync then go idle. I can't say one way or the other whether it's different than the last build, though.

Exchange ActiveSync is somewhat broken in 10.9 13A598. I'm hoping they fixed it in this build.

There has never been ActiveSync support in OS X. Do you mean EWS?
Exchange works ok in the Gm version. It is not the same as using Outlook on Windows, but basic Exchange functionality, as exposed by the EWS interface, works ok.

No desktop app uses activesync, it's only for mobile devices. Outlook and mail.app use Exchange Web Services (EWS)

I'm running Mav (original GM) against Exchange 2013 and haven't experienced any issues

Mail.app on Windows 8 uses ActiveSync.

Mavericks support for Microsoft Exchange

Edit: posts crossed paths. This point is already addressed but I find no way to delete my post (sorry).

How do you find the previous versions if you updated?

downloaded, moved app to applications folder, install, and 45 minutes later i have the latest build number. Don't know why people are saying you cant update, but you can.

Strange. I thought this was released for the Safari issues people were having. I guess not. Sounds like maybe something in Mail? It was apparently the only thing updated.

Safari 7 has been the best thing about mavericks for me, I've had no issues and its been much less buggy than safari 6.

Let me ask an honest question hoping for an honest answer.

When you downloaded the original GM seed did you do it through the legal dev portal and get a key from the dev site or did you get it somewhere else ?

I had the same issue, then I realized the same thing happened with 10.8. If you have a saved copy of the 10.9 installer anywhere on your Mac it will "see" it - doesn't have to be in your App's folder or main boot - and will refuse to download with that error (I have four SATA HDD's in my Mac Pro, one holding 1000+ app's including the 10.9 GM installer). I moved the installer to an external drive, deleted it off my Mac Pro, then tried again. Worked.

Hope this helps
