I ordered a MBA 16GB/1TB on November 11. Delivery Dec 4 - Dec 11. Still processing. Delivery to US east coast.
The first flight, UPS51, is scheduled to depart in 18 minutes. Hopefully we get a departure update within the next half hour. I'm holding my breath.
Ugh! Does anybody know where it goes next? It departed from Anchorage facility last night at 9:33 PM. I’m in Arizona. My original delivery was 12/1. Apple sent out an email on 12/1 indicating that my delivery may be delayed. Apple website today says Arriving Soon. UPS now says rescheduled delivery 12/7.

Worst case the scan last night was the departure scan, and hopefully we get an arrival scan later tonight.
Still not sure how to best update my saga... but my 'replacement order' from 11/27 that replaced my original order from 11/12 (Apple did it, not me) finally has some movement and has a 'departed from facility status' which is the first update since 11/20. This is the original tracking number I received back on 11/18 and the UPS app says its on track to schedule by end of day 12/08. Apple Store app still shows 'preparing to ship' and a 12/22 expected ship date.
At this point I would have just taken the long Shanghai delay. The weirdness with my order number makes me nervous on when I'll actually receive the laptop.

Based on all the same scans at the same time, I would guess our laptops are traveling together. Where is yours shipping to?
This is just speculation, but I wonder if the delay of UPS 5X51 is due the #shanghaigang's notebooks needing to be loaded on the plane and it's taking a little longer? That is assuming of course that's our flight.
I ordered a MacBook Air in the same order with the MBP; it was almost 24 hours from the Alaska scan to the Louisville scan. Ordered on 11Nov and received on 17Nov. Also, it looks like all of us got the 7Dec estimated delivery date; I'm expecting that my MBP may actually arrive here in Texas on 4Nov or 5Nov. More will be revealed.
Expected to depart in 8 minutes after new delayed time. Hoping we get a tracking update 🤞

Now I have a 2nd order in some unknown status - this time with DHL
Apple.com originally gave an arrival date of Dec 4, but this has now changed to "Arriving Soon" whatever that means.
However, no movement from the shipper for 3 days. Hopefully not "stuck in Shenzhen" like my Shanghai package.
Look extremely unlikely it will be delivered by the end of this week

For the same exact order details as @rbf1138 , I finally got a change. Apple status moved to "Preparing to Ship" this afternoon with the same Dec 11-18 delivery range. No charge to my card yet. Doesn't show in UPS tracking yet and as far as I know, there's no way to check ref numbers with Fedex.
There’s three more flights to Louisville taking off within the next hour along with 5X51. Fingers crossed one of these is us!
