Nope. I ordered a Base MBA. all the stores around here say unavailable for pickup.
Trying to remain hopeful here that my order doesn't get pushed back until January. Called Apple again and the lady I spoke with was very friendly, and told me she didn't expect the order to get delayed. She assured me that it should be here by the 8th.

I am too. I keep refreshing my order status more hoping it doesn't get pushed back, then a preparing for delivery notification haha.
UPS6065 landed a few minutes ago. Here's hoping for an arrival scan sometime soon.
All the stores around Dallas also unavailable for pickup. Even Best Buy has none. Costco and Micro Center too. None to be found in Dallas anywhere.
I have a family member who ordered the same computer I ordered (MBA Basic) but the day before me and there's changed to prepared to ship today so maybe Ill get lucky and have prepared to ship tomorrow 🤔
You should see movement soon. I ordered the same configuration on 11/16. It shipped yesterday. Apple say’s I’ll get it by 12/11 and UPS is showing 12/9 delivery estimate.
My MBP 16/1 ordered 11/11 with delivery date 11/27-12/4 now says January.

Hope I am wrong here, but I have a bad feeling that the original #ShanghaiGang is still actually in Shanghai and not Anchorage... This feeling comes from the odd timestamps given in Anchorage that more closely align to someone on the east coast (UPS corporate), entering in "scans" manually. I do not think our packages have actually been physically scanned since Shanghai.
There was probably some miscommunication going on with the UPS investigations team and the scans were put in the system based on what they were told, not where the packages actually were.

Ordered a Basic MBA. that shouldn't get pushed back to January I would think. If I ordered it now it would be Dec 11 - 18.
I guess we will know for sure either when we receive another scan or when Dec. 7 rolls around and they still haven't moved...
You can count me in that group. My order on Apple's site still lists 12/8 as the scheduled delivery, rather than the original 12/4 that UPS stated, so I'm hoping they'll be able to get out of Hong Kong sometime over the weekend.

So refreshed my order. Still processing. Ugh. Decided just for fun to check my local stores. They have stock!!!!
Was able to do pickup this afternoon for 6:30 pm. Another local store had stock as well. Once I get it in my hand I will cancel my pending order. Check your local stores! Wish me luck! Btw in in Charlotte NC. Getting a base air.

I'm starting to think that as well. I haven't received any updates or even think I will get my package anytime soon.
False hopes and feel those "scans" are just to stop us from complaining or calling them.I think it depends where it's being delivered to. Here in NYC, UPS delivers all 7 days of the week. Past places I've lived, no Sat or Sundays.
