MBA 8c GPU/16/512 ordered on the 19th Nov, delivery scheduled for the 7th Dec with UPS. Anyone know why it would go from saying "in transit" in Shanghai to going back inland to Zhengzhou?

Because the Airport at Shanghai is in some situation, and they have to use somewhere else to schedule the flight.

Looks like the delivery date got bumped a little earlier. Originally 12/16-12/23. Now it looks like 12/10.

Mac Mini 16gb/256 ordered Nov 21. Standard delivery to UK. ETA Dec 21.
Prepared to ship on Dec 2.
Shipped on Dec 3. from The Netherlands. New ETA Dec 10.

DHL is still on information received though, it hasn't moved.

Mac Mini M1 16GB 512GB order 11/17 until yesterday on processing, got message from DHL they got shipment details received from Eindhoven. Destination Brussel.
Same spec. Same order date.

It turned from being processed to shipped all within 12 hours yesterday. (It sure escalated quickly.)

It’s now being shipped by UPS Worldwide Expedited from Shenzhen to Toronto. It’s already in Hong Kong airport. Deliver estimate next Thursday Dec 10. But if it’s already at airport, I would say it’ll be here sooner!

I’m not sure why I got Expedited shipping while I see other people got UPS Saver. I didn’t pay anything extra. Not complaining though.

Edit: Never mind. The expedited is actually a cheaper option. :(

My order also shipped! I’m a half day behind you. Mine left the FedEx origin facility in Shanghai at 11:05am on December 4.
Looks like ours are together, mine left at 11:04. Glad these are moving and we’re avoiding UPS which has been trouble for a lot of people in this thread.

Apple says December 14th for delivery which is probably several days later than it will actually deliver. Still Pending delivery date from FedEx.

Same ETA for me and same DHL status. I’d imagine ours are travelling to Eindhoven from China together.

MM 16/512: Ordered 11/20, shipped 12/4 via UPS to USA. Apple shows 12/14 delivery, UPS shows 12/10. Shenzhen to Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong ?????

My 16/512 mini has been sitting in Hong Kong for several days, with no estimated delivery date from UPS. I noticed this morning that its status has changed to "Cleared Customs" and now has a delivery date of 12/9.

So my MM shows that it is coming from "APPLE COMPUTER INC C/O FOXCONN" while the Air I got last month came from "APPLE INC C/O TECH-COM(SHANGHAI)COMPUTER". I missed that there are different factories.

My MBA also moved from Shanghai to Zhengzhou, then a few hours ago it arrived in Incheon, Korea. I checked the next flight from Incheon to Cologne which will be on Sunday, it looks like this is the delivery route for me.

Considering there is a global pandemic, I don't find it that surprising. The fact that I'm not a lone and others are facing the same delays is actually quite therapeutic. Now I'm going back to frantically refreshing my UPS tracking.
True.. but the bigger question is: Why the heck isn’t apple ordering stock for these models in store.. like, at all...

They probably are trying to, but there’s more demand than what they’re able to keep up with at this point.
