They probably have stock that's tied up in shipping. With how some stores are randomly getting some, I think this is all related to UPS and FedEx not able to handle the capacity.

I have other orders from other vendors are should be delivered 1-2 days after ordering and it's stuck in tranist.

This is what’s worrying me for my own business. Shipping times globally are just going to get much much worse as vaccine deployment takes priority on all shipping lanes.
 
I've been on a roller coaster with this thing so far:

1) Ordered from Apple and got an arrival range of Dec. 8th-15th
2) Saw on Wednesday that Best Buy had them available for next day delivery.
3) Cancelled my Apple order and ordered from Best Buy instead.
4) Next morning I woke up to an email saying the shipment was going to be late.
5) Yesterday I got an email saying it was delivering today via next day air from UPS
6) This morning I got an email saying it was going to be late with no estimated delivery date
7) UPS.com says it's still delivering today by 9 pm

I have no idea where this computer is or when it's getting here. All I know is that my card has been charged.

I ordered the exact same model on the exact same day, had the same delivery window and just got the same delay. January?! The freaking M2 is going to be out by the time we get this thing.
 
stock is available for pickup in the BASE model for the Pro in space gray today in the Charlotte NC area. Just an FYI. Keep checking local pickup options if you want a base model while your current order is being shipped.

That's how I feel too! Now I'll *maybe* have it two months after I ordered and more than a month after my original window! That's nuts... Was really wondering if I should just deal with my 8-year old MBP for another year, cancel this new one and wait for the M2.
 
Ordered mine MBP 16/256 on 27.11 was send yesterday. Should arrive to Poland on 09.12.
Currently for one day in place called EPZ,China. Sent from Chengdu factory.

I can confirm this exact same delivery status and exact same delivery date for a Mac Mini 16GB/512GB ordered on 11/13. It is now showing “Cleared Customs” in Hong Kong and has been given a UPS Delivery Date of 12/9.
 
Ordered a MBP 16/512 on Nov 20th. Apple just tried to charge my card, which Capital One declined :rolleyes:. Went in and "updated" my payment info with apple, and my card was immediately charged. There is no change on my order status though. It still shows "Processing", and there is nothing indicating they charged my card. Is this normal? This is the first time I have ordered something from the apple website.

Edit: nevermind... on to preparing to ship. I'm surprised it wasn't pushed back with the 16/1tb people.

How do I figure out what flights my FedEx package might be on? I have my tracking number and reference number. It’s currently “At local FedEx facility” Shanghai

Close the the same, but I only got delayed until Dec 22nd (that was a week ago). Did you get a duplicate order from Apple like I did? Same order number, but new order date (updated from 11/11 to 11/27).

Now where I'm really confused is if I look at the UPS app. My original tracking number (from 11/18) says it made it to Louisville, KY around 1am. Still says it's shipping to my address with a delivery of EOD 12/7. My second tracking number (from the Apple automatic re-order from 11/27) finally shipped but the status is 'package is delayed in transit' and still in Shanghai. Main page of UPS app says the second order should be delivered 12/10. Finally, the Apple Store app uses the new tracking number and says it will be delivered on 12/22.

Credit card has only been charged once, but I now have two tracking numbers coming to my address and 3 different delivery dates! Most wild order/delivery process I've ever seen, but understandable given the state of things. Here's to patience!
 
Stock configs are available in many places - BestBuy, Costco, etc.... I wish a few different configs were available as well...

Same ordering details, same new massive delay in shipping with no explanation or email.

MBP 16GB/1TB, Ordered: Nov 11, Orig Delivery: Nov 27 - Dec 4, now Jan 6 - Jan 13.

I'd update the Google Sheet but it looks like someone messed with it.

If some of us get moved then I can assume all of us will be moved. If it can get to Louisville today then the Monday delivery is certain.
