Now where I'm really confused is if I look at the UPS app. My original tracking number (from 11/18) says it made it to Louisville, KY around 1am. Still says it's shipping to my address with a delivery of EOD 12/7. My second tracking number (from the Apple automatic re-order from 11/27) finally shipped but the status is 'package is delayed in transit' and still in Shanghai. Main page of UPS app says the second order should be delivered 12/10. Finally, the Apple Store app uses the new tracking number and says it will be delivered on 12/22.

Credit card has only been charged once, but I now have two tracking numbers coming to my address and 3 different delivery dates! Most wild order/delivery process I've ever seen, but understandable given the state of things. Here's to patience!

Wow 😂 that is quite a story... sounds like you're gonna get two MBPs before many of us are even charged for one! 😂😂😂

Well I guess I can stop whining now ;) My MacMini has been released from customers where it was sequestered for three days. Does anyone know if UPS sends an update for when it actually heads out of China? Delivery information from UPS is now promised by Wednesday. Apple’s site reports Tuesday. Why oh why don’t these two sources ever match:eek:

Until an actual delivery occurs, I’ll keep myself busy setting up a second monitor on a dual Dell monitor display stand. One monitor in landscape, and one portrait. I’ve also got some on monitor ”screen bar lights” to rig.

I am in the same exact boat as Ethan, but when I chatted with Apple Support, they couldn't tell me why it was delayed, they seemed perplexed that the date was just changed without notice. They opened up an investigation and I should hear back Real Soon Now(tm). I never got an email. I'll update the spreadsheet if I hear anything useful back.

I was still impatient when I received a text message ! MacBook Pro in Eindhoven (no Shanghai trace...) and arriving on Monday 7/09 by DHL. I’m so happy for the weekend. I’ll post a pic when I receive it. Good luck for #shanghaigang !

So we haven't gotten updates from all of #AnchorageGang yet (@slackcrow, @ariellee, @sobenz, Unregistered), as well as an update from @xibabla on whether he made it to Europe (given Hummingbird and Eike001 have).

However, looking at the trends on the spreadsheet, for people who have updated their status or confirmed that their status has not changed, it looks like #ShanghaiGang which shipped on 11/20 to the US got their packages scanned in Louisville (Gnattu, me, mooshhie, rtsaws, neworbit99, Daytona 360) but those that shipped on 11/21 haven't had that happen yet (GHalstead, jdcohnsf, Kalae, ElBerserko).

Ohh I didn't realize, I go away for 30 min and I get a scan! (12:50PM)

Yours seems like the first MBA to get an import scan. The earlier imports all seem to have been Pros. Your origin scan is the same as mine so hopefully they are unpacking the same pallet that mine is on right now.

Mine is a Pro but still no scan. :confused: So no particular pattern for Pro vs Air.

Package has been sorted in Amsterdam today and will be delivered on monday. If everything goes right that‘s 3 days earlier than apple currently says and 19 days earlier than the initial date apple gave me.
