Apple told me yesterday that my MacBook is already in Germany... just like they told you.
Has your UPS tracking changed the same way as mine this morning? The status simply changed the date from 24.11 to 29.11 for in transit? But how can it allegedly be in Germany then? This is extremely strange, to me at least

@Hummingbird213 I'm also waiting for it to arrive to Germany (we have the same hours / dates in the tracking) and mine has also changed.
While the Web tracking just says in transit, the UPS Mobile shows the status as 'Departed from Facility' which gives me a bit of hope, so maybe some of us can hope to still get it next week!

Yes, I did not notice that until you pointed it out. But my UPS status has changed exactly in the same way as yours (29.11.2020 16:55 h).
It is really strange. The apple employee I have talk to has double checked my order and she was very confident that just the UPS tracking is messed up as she was able to hunt down my macbook to a storage center in Cologne. This is about 50 km apart from me.

Same here in the UPS app: 29.11.2020 16:55 "Departed from Facility" on UPS website: 29.11.2020 16:55 "in transit"
Chances are high that yours and Hummingbird213s macs are also in the same storage facility in Cologne.

think all three if us are having exactly the same dates. It shows the same in the app for me.
Good thing is, we don’t need to worry wether it’s also lost or not.
The apple employee told me exactly what you were told.
Let‘s keep our fingers crossed that it’s really a bug in their tracking system and we will get our MacBooks by next week.

Edit: Mine is for delivery to NY State if that helps anyone. Seems like the others that updated are Europe.

I hope so. Even if it doesn’t at least it is nice to know that they are processing packages there now
I am in the same situation - no update. Still 11/24 In Transit. I also totally agree with the optimism that at least something is happening now. Hopefully that means "when" not "if".
Same here but with update time 12.50 - to deliver in France.
Spoke with Apple twice this week and they insisted it'll arrive this week.

But the updates on others give me hope. This means UPS is processing packages again at Shanghai and some are finally leaving.
I believe all the UPS declared lost is a result of the COVID-19, they cannot ship nor re-route the ones made into UPS. Apple probably waited to see if the UPS situation would change, and since it didn’t, Apple called "lost" so they can issue replacements....the "lost" ones will eventually make it back to apple.
Now, what sucks is the ones getting replacements are getting dates for January, but if you try to order today you can get in December. So, it makes me believe it is a strategy for Apple to get the "lost" ones back and re-send them. I am confident the orders placed after Shanghai debacle came into light are not going through same chain any longer....

I’m part of Shanghai gang, and I finally have an in transit update stating it left the Shanghai facility.
edit: Apple is still saying Tuesday the 1st, maybe there’s a chance that’s still gonna happen!

Did those of you who received an update stating your shipments have departed Shanghai today get an update saying that your packages have landed in Tokyo? Or will there be no scans until it arrives in the US? Also, could The Departed update their tracking updates in @Gnattu's spreadsheet? It's going to be helpful to see how many have departed vs how many are still in Shanghai.
@Gnattu Were you able to find any additional flights arriving at or departing in Shanghai? I can't seem to find any. There's one flight, UPS94, which doesn't have any filed destination on Flightradar24 and could be flying toward PVG or SZX.

No update for landing in Tokyo. Last update was about 7 hours ago, so if it was going to Tokyo it would have landed hours ago. It’s probably on its way to Anchorage if I had to guess.
