I purchased the entire Paragon suite in 2019. Today I installed the trial NTFS for mac app but I am not able to activate (sign in).
It keeps saying incorrect credentials. I downloaded the app from "My Downloads" but it gives me the error saying it's an unsupported version.

I am on mac mini m1. I tried the support link mentioned but it has absolutely nothing about the aforementioned issue.
How the heck do I activate this thing that I already bought at full price?

You must upgrade to version 15. Version 14 doesn't work with M1 Macs

If you scroll down the product page there's a "NTFS for Mac build for Apple Silicon" build which you can download, have you tried that?
Yes. That is the only version that works on M1. That is the version I can't activate.

I have the same problem with the latest build for M1 (15.8.105) on my new MacBook Air.
I already wrote to the support, now waiting for a response. I hope I soon get a reply. Keep you updated on this issue!

This screenshot you shared, it says NTFS for Mac 15.8.105

When I download from "My Downloads" section, the file that downloads for this app is named "Paragon-1091-PEU_MacInstallUnlock_15.5.106"

I am not on version 14. Never have been. How do go from here?

Yes, please do. I have also written a support ticket before I wrote this post in MacRumours. I'll keep this updated as well.

In the meantime, I found a way to circumvent the "Unsupported macOS Version" message I showed in my original post.
  1. Mount the dmg (Paragon-1091-PEU_MacInstallUnlock_15.5.106.dmg)
  2. View package contents of the installer file (Install NTFS for Mac)
  3. /Volumes/ParagonFS.localized/FSInstaller.app/Contents/Resources/product.zip
  4. Copy the zip to desktop. Extract & install with the product.pkg
EDIT: For some reason, my NTFS drive is still shown as read-only.

It infuriates me that I have to pay them for this AGAIN. This crap they pull every time they get a chance.
They should make this free of cost. Also my upgrades section is empty.

I have had the same complaint about apps like CCC, Omnigraffle and VMWare Fusion for years now. Any excuse to make the next version a paid upgrade. Requiring to pay for an upgrade after a transition to a different architecture though? I can understand that the more low level applications, such as the NTFS driver from Paragon, would need some work and validation, so I don't mind a paid upgrade in this case.

But I can't do that either. My upgrades tab is empty. And the only option I see is to pay the full price which I won't do.
I've used their service before, they are notoriously slow and in some cases replies after 4-5 days with generic answers.

And also, when I check for updates from my 15.5.106, it says I am on the latest version. Stupid app. IF they continue like this, without a competition, they will face the similar consequences of Intel.

I just got a mail from their support. They gave me 5 new codes to redeem in the mail (see below). I redeemed the code in the new "ParagonBox" and it activated fine.

Sorry, I presumed you had version 14.x. I had paragon ntfs licenses since version 12, as the last one I has (14) didn't work I bought a new license when paragon ntfs for M1 was already in beta.

Hi Sovon,

today I also got a similar e-mail from the support team of Paragon and with the info supplied in the email could just activate the software finally.
They explained to me that they have to platforms for activating their software right now and that caused the confusion.
Hope that helps the other guys with similar problems here.
