Space Gray is my favorite color, but Magic Mouse really only needs to come in one color: brown, to match the big ol' pile of poo that it is.
Apple makes the best trackpads of anyone. Hands down.
But, I swear they intentionally make terrible mice just to push people to stop using them. Almost everything from the puck mouse onward has been awful. It's like throwing the knowledge gained about ergonomics from 35 years of mouse-using out the window and making something that doesn't fit any natural position of a hand just because it looks pretty.
They should make it compatible with future iMax M1X or M2 pro models.
Imagine if they just thought nah, we don’t need pro iMacs or space grey!!! This forum would explode!
It will be interesting to see what Apple offers for the new MBP’s, iMac Pro and Mac Pro’s, color-wise. I’d love to see something like a titanium finish come back with the MBP’s.
Nobody knows. But I agree with you - seems unnecessary now, unless they want to make a crazy one with cheese grater design like their monitor.Do we even know if Apple is going to continue on with the iMac Pro line? It was a stop gap when initially launched until the new Mac Pro came out. I wouldn’t be surprised if Apple didn’t make another iMac Pro model.

I think the only way Apple doesn’t release a new iMac Pro is if they bring an inexpensive new Cinema Display to market. That seems like it was at least part of the limiting factor driving sales with the Mac Pro. The fact that the 27” went away and doesn’t have an M1 update, suggests to me that the new 30” or whatever the expanded size ends up being will become the new iMac Pro. It would make total sense to keep the 24” iMac as the entry level consumer model and the larger size the pro product, imho.Do we even know if Apple is going to continue on with the iMac Pro line? I actually use this keyboard. I like the proximity sensor. I dont like the lag in connecting. If apple can do instant BT so can Logitech.Logitech to the rescue. Plus you can choose between Bluetooth or USB connectivity and has 3 device switching. Very happy with this combo. I actually like this better than Apple's offerings.

Especially considering the mouse doesn't ruin your wrists because of questionable ergonomics...Logitech to the rescue. Plus you can choose between Bluetooth or USB connectivity and has 3 device switching. Very happy with this combo. I actually like this better than Apple's offerings.

I signed up to the forums just to reply to this article. 1) The Apple Space Gray were a bit too expensive, 2) I can't imagine why they would discontinue them, as other people posted, as they still sell SG laptops/iPads, and some of us that care about what our gear looks like will buy at the Apple premium price, and 3) Satechi makes some pretty nice kit. I have no affiliation with them, but if their keyboard is half as nice and well-engineered as their current aluminum SG iPad stand, I'm in. The stand is solid, and because I'm a graphic designer, I appreciate the fact they took time to make their packaging look smart as well. Cheers.
Apple this week stopped selling its Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad, Magic Mouse 2, and Magic Trackpad 2 accessories for the Mac in a Space Gray color, around three months after discontinuing the iMac Pro, which also came in Space Gray.

Last month, Apple listed the Space Gray accessories as available while supplies last, and the company has now removed the product pages from its website entirely, as spotted by Appleosophy. The accessories remain available in Silver, but keep in mind they have not been updated since October 2015.
The new iMac with the M1 chip is available with colorful new Magic accessories, including a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, but Apple has not yet made these accessories available for purchase on a standalone basis.
