Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone 17 Pre-Orders

Same... got in a few min ago and Air 256 sky blue was showing 25th for me. After I placed the order I went back and started placing a new order and it was showing 19th delivery. Maybe a display mistake?

That took longer here than I was expecting! I had to re-enter some information from my pre-preorder! I could get instore pickup on 19th, but delivery would have been October!

Was in at 8:02 EST for 17 pro 256 deep blue. Shipping date was 9/25 so decided to pick up in store. Definitely a first for me this year.

Got my order through. Sept. 25-29. Never in my years preordering the iPhone did I not get it release date. What the hell Apple. Especially iPhone upgrade program!! AND I'll be out of town after the 25th!!

This is my hope too. Many times in the past apple has suggested one delivery date, but the actual date ended up being much earlier.

Where I am at least (Ontario, Canada) it seems like most models are still available for launch day delivery as of now (about 15 minutes after going live).

Guys try with both iphone and computer. Computer was stuck on please wait while iphone apple store app got in quick. Pick up time slots were going fast.

If you want an iPhone 17 ASAP, is it better to pre-order or go into a store on launch day?

You definitely will need to pre-order either way, but if you choose pickup in store instead of shipping sometimes you may get sooner. If you just walk in to a store though, everyone who preoreded for pickup will get priority.

Ordered at :04am. The exact second the app came up (constantly forced quit the app) starting 10 minutes prior. Got 9/25 delivery date. Others who did the same all showing 9/25 as well. So think for delivery Apple is showing everyone 9/25, presumably to avoid people getting upset if doesn't arrive on launch date, but presumably all of us early birds will be getting on launch date. If anyone's said shipped and arriving before 9/25 for a Standard Pro let us know.

This was the worst experience I've ever head on launch day. Apple Store didn't open until around 8:17 EST. AT&T wouldn't complete my order . . . and still won't online. Had to actually use a telephone to go through the whole rigamarole with the agent. She said I'd get my phones (a 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, both 512gb) on launch day and the shipping info shows a "Estimated to Ship" of 9/18 - but I have no real confidence.

Order placed at 5:03 as soon as the store loaded and it’s delivering 9/25. iPhone Pro 256GB silver. Been preordering for years and never not gotten on launch day.

I was in at 5:02, Silver & Orange 1Tb Pro Max’s were slated the 25th for shipping - opted into picking up launch day despite the drive, ah well. Blue is still in stock to be shipped on launch day. Either Blue isn’t popular or they made way more of them than Silver/Orange.

That screen kept me out for about 7 minutes, which was enough time for shipping to slip to Sept 25th. Kinda bummed I woke up at 4:30am for that...

I was in by 5:02, and my delivery date was also the 25. Same for a lot of us.

The iPad store opened right on time at 8:00 AM EST, and I was able to secure a launch day! The iPhone and website, though, didn’t go live until around 8:05 AM EST for me.
