iPhone 47?! Wow, I want one! ;)

Since a few people have asked, you can reserve one to pick up in store, but you might have to wait in line.

At the Narita (Tokyo) airport lounge and I'm typing this on a japanese keyboard. Really wierd. The ' symbol is Shift-7, instead of over on the right by the enter key. Guess I forgot to hit shift. So sue me. :D

Quick question:

I'm going to be at my parents house on release week, far from an ATT or Apple store, but I can get the phone delivered there.

Do I need to procure a micro-sim beforehand, and if I can get one, will I be able to activate the phone remotely?

Thanks in advance for any insight.

hahahahahah.... that just made my night... like just picture the calls ur gonna get now and what pple will be filming.....

Could be an entirely new world for the 1-900 folks... as for my girl and I, I finalized the fine tuning of computer systems this eve. (got her a Mac Mini to replace her crap Dell and introduced her to the world of Mac)

I have to admit it, but this is going to revolutionize communication.

It comes with one. You just need a computer connected to the internet with iTunes on it.

I would think they would already have the sim in the phone when it arrived. Less hassle at the stores on opening day (iDay, as I like to call it) and less hassle at home.

What chances Mac Pros too?

Anyone else hoping that we see a refresh of the mac pro today as well as the iphone?
It is going to turn out to be a pretty expensive summer what with the ipad, CS5, iphone 4, Lightroom 3 and (hopefully) a Mac Pro.

I wonder if Jobs is taking his sweet time picking out a special turtle neck to press the "button." I'm getting pretty antsy.

A few hours, usually.

It takes a while for Apple to fill up all those moneybags that AAPL shareholders will trip over. That's what I see as a longtime AAPL shareholder.

Mate, seriously, we get it. You are an apple shareholder. I'm sure you're very pleased with yourself, and we're all happy for you too. But do you really have to mention the fact in almost very single one of your comments?
When you start each post with "as an apple shareholder" and constantly refer to your bags of money, it just makes you look desperate for attention. Feel free to respond with something along the lines of "all my bags of money that I trip over mean I don't care what an anonymous internet user thinks of me"

On topic, can't wait to get me an iPhone 4. Will be my first iPhone

I just got off the phone with a sales rep from Orange (UK) and she said they would be offering unlimited data but wont but selling the iPhone 4 in white and have a very limited amount of stock (20k).

Don't know if shes right but sounds like it to me.
