Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone 4 Pre-Orders

i dont think thats true, im using my old 3GS's sim on a 5 year old ericsson and i still have my unlimited data plan.

I talked to a rep at a local AT&T store and he said you can have it delivered right to your door or have it sent to the store. He recommended having it sent to my door (which is what I am going to do).
 
When you pre-order it on the apple site, what info do they ask for? How do they know if you qualify for the upgrade pricing?

My wife is asleep, and I will have to wake her up if they need the account holder's soc :)

I admire your patience! haha I'm not sure I can wait that long, as it could be an extra 6 HOURS!!!!! :-D

Some att reps are kinda dumb and full of ****, i went to an att store to buy a micro-sim couple weeks ago and the rep said they didn't carry it, couple mins later of complaining she went to check with manager and found out they did have em.

Haha. I figured as much...I just didn't want to take the risk. As long as the system doesn't do a clean sweep, you're fine. But for some reason if they realize the SIM card is in a non-iPhone, you get bumped off the iPhone plan.

I'm just going to wait it out for a week. I have a Blackberry with my line forwarded to it. I took a risk, and well, the reward will still be a new iPhone 4.
 
So let me see if I understand this... If I pre-order online today via Apple, will I be guaranteed one when I get to the store at 7am on the 24th? Do they do lines for pre-orders and lines for first come, first serve buyers?

Trying to decide between shipping it or picking it up.

iPhone 47?! Wow, I want one! ;)

Since a few people have asked, you can reserve one to pick up in store, but you might have to wait in line.

Might need to wake her up. Last four digits I think you need.
