Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Pre-Orders

Finally ordered! Wow! That was stressful. Just trying to get the kids off to school and wait for a carpet to be delivered hoping to get that order through before everything kicked off!

iPhone 6+ 64GB Space Grey Unlocked (UK) finally ordered.

Time for a coffee...or a shot to calm down!

I hit a few errors along the way and I had to try a few times to sign in for the checkout, but eventually it got through and I got an e-mail confirmation (received at 12:23 AM) that the order has gone through. I chose to pick up the phone at my closest Apple Store and it says it should be available for pick up on 9/19. Countdown starts now :)

Did see any mention of purchasing Applecare+ when you placed your order? I didn't see it when I ordered it through the app like I did last year when I ordered my 5s. I guess we can buy it within so many days right?
 
Hmmm... pre-ordered phones on ATT website... after payment and checking the boxes....it came out to check your status and an order ID. When I check the status and input the order ID....I get a "Cant find your order number..."
 
The iPhone app worked just fine and was able to do an in store pickup so I don't have to deal with FedEx since people actually have to work.
 
Apple Store app is telling me I can only get the gold version. Won't let me pick silver or space gray.

What the hell, Apple?
 
Apple Store iOS app works! I got a few errors and lots of spinning wheels, but eventually they went through (just try again when you dismiss the error).

iPhone 6 Plus, 64 GB, space gray.

Delivery data says 9/19 so fingers crossed.

I checked on Verizon, shipping dates for the space gray Plus are already 10/7 (64, 128) to 10/14 (16).

Just got my order number. Placed it through Apple Store on iOS App. 64GB iPhone 6+ Space Grey on AT&T.
 
I was able to order my 64gb silver iPhone 6 Plus on Australia store about 10 minutes ago. Aussie store is up for me still. The desktop version btw, not the app.
 
Finally was able to order by the Apple store iPad and iPhone app:

iPhone 6 Silver 128gb and iPhone 6 gold 64gb

Both with AT&T and their NEXT program
